good school

The school is good and there are some amazing teachers who truly care for their students. The head teacher is easygoing but tackles issues within the school very well, and listens to the student’s ideas conplaints and reccomendations with intent to take action. For example, the conditions of the toilets were very bad meaning not many students could use them+ they were locked during lesson time- students were expected to use the hive toilets which were shared with sixth formers and only had three usable cubicles and it crested a lot of discomfort in the students (one reason im not giving the school 5 stars) however some students created a petition to change this and the head teacher took action immediately meeting with the student’s and sorting a solution which involved the toilets being locked during lesson time except for a few minutes in-between and a set time at the start and end of lessons so students could still use the toilets without having to queue for an available cubicle and the conditions of the toilets are still bad but the school is actively finding solutions for this and fixing them.
The teachers really care about their students and are dedicated to what they do. most of them teach well and are understanding when some students need extra help. overall a good school and is progressive in its outlook too.

Awful

Bullying a lot and teachers never notice when u are sad and when you ask a teacher to help you with your mental health they just ignore you and then tell your parents wich doesn’t help and then when they see that u have no friends they don’t care and just let you cry in the bathrooms then tell you off for being late for class

Little help for people who struggle

SEN help is poor. Preach for mental health but heavy amounts of stress, SEN help is awful and honestly disgusting

Education

Rosebery High School

I go to school here and I can't express how happy I am here
The teachers are all so nice and helpful
They help bring out the potential in everyone and drive you to be the best you can be

I love it here and the students here are all so different and unique and it is great to see

Great school

Parent of girls who attend here, it’s an excellent school and my girls loved it. We all read the two negative reviews on here from 2020 and can only think it’s someone who holds a grudge over some perceived slight.

Rubbish School.

Teachers rude and inconsiderate bulling girls because of religious believes and a very strange way to teach. If you fail a exam they won’t help you just watch you struggle. The children are not under control and very rude.

Poor experience

Teachers were good at teaching, but not much work ethic taught and the SEN help was poor. There was also poor communication between school and home, and wasn’t much praise given to students. Bullies were unnoticed by staff and failed to punish them, but instead praised them. The learning environment at rosebery is unbearable as there is little classroom control, so there was constant noise and talking.
