Poor SEND provision
Very poor provision for pupils with SEND who are mocked, verbally abused & punished for their difficulties by (not all) but many of the teachers. Any concerns from parents are either ignored or dismissed & the blame is put on poor parenting. The lack of basic mental health awareness & special needs provision is astonishing & no reasonable adjustments are ever made, possibly in the hope parents take their SEND kids somewhere else.
I dunno what to put as a title...
I'm only in my 3rd year and will be going into 4th in September but it is horrible. The teachers are so biased and most of the time the class does nothing. Bullies don't get dealt with and students with mental health problems don't get the support they need. I'm in the new building and it's already looking time a pile of trash. The friarmere 1 toilets have no doors/locks, no loo roll, sometimes no toilet seats and it's been fully taken over by the chavs. I started there at the start of September 2022 so it's been a year for me there and I thought it would be very good but it's not. There are some teachers there that are nice like my form teacher and one of the french teachers but with some I kinda just wanna give them a high five.. in the face.. with a chair... if any parents read this that wanna put there kids in there, be careful but definitely DONT sent them to waterhead 🤮 saddy school is better but not the best.
Its pretty shit.
Walls are plain and depressing thwir one way system makes no sence and alot of teachers are horrible to students. Out door enviroment is nice but grassy areas are banned.

teachers dont help and are unfair and dont treat people with respect. you cant go toilet, doors are always locked, bullies are everywhere and people dont have time to eat because of how long it takes to queue.

As a pupil at this school I think it has been improved due to the new headteacher and new school. Students respect our school. The school have improved their education levels and the detention routine.
awful dont go or get out
Gave someone a 20-minute detention for years of homophobic and racist bullying but suspended someone for not taking off nail polish. Says plenty about their priorities. They could NOT care less about their students! Misogynistic uniform rules! Headteacher obsessed with control and not the student's well being!
Over rated
serious situations are NOT dealt with appropriately at all. Some teachers are absolute stars but others just can’t get a classes attention in any way, some lessons genuinally you will have 80% of the class sitting there’s doing nothing at all because the class is boring and teachers can’t grab attention.
students are nasty
some of the students that go to saddle worth are unbelievably nasty they made my lives absolute hell and i have gathered that most people who go to saddle worth turn into actual monsters many people who go there are sexist homophobic and in general horrible people to be around i cant help but feel so sorry for the genuinely kind hearted students that attend this hell hole. its a shocking, disgusting, dirty,depressing, organised ,toxic pace to send your child so for the sake of them do not.

I was bullied a lot. There wasn't a lot done about it, they claimed to want to help people and be able to recognise the symptoms but no one helped my when I was suicidal. It was hell at that school. The trips were fun though and I made lots of friends

I don’t like the school anymore I haven’t had a good time and I’m only in my 3rd year and I haven’t had much time this year due to COVID but it still isn’t good in my eyes
