Salisbury Cathedral School

Wow, what an amazing school, I went here very recently (2020-2025), and I had the most fantastic time. It felt like so much more than just a school- all of the teachers were brilliant, they all taught me so much. I always felt supported and cared for at SCS, the staff were always looking out for you and wanting you to be happy. I also had some incredible friends who I will never forget, but probably the best thing about this school was the real sense of community at the very heart. In my time, I got to know lots of other people’s parents and guardians. There were many occasions that brought the school together and you were able to have fun with lots of people from the school- the St Osmund’s night fireworks and the music festival being real highlights for me. While the school has a fantastic reputation for music which it lives up to, there is so much more than music at SCS. I really enjoyed the sport, drama and academic events that we often took part in, and in my Common Entrance exams in year 8, I did well, as did many others in my class, and thanks to the teachers and everyone else who supported me, I was offered a scholarship at my current school. The last thing I would say is that to anyone looking at going to SCS I would say to absolutely go for it. My memories of the school will stay with me forever and I hope that many other people will get to experience the same happy times that I had at the school. Thank you so much SCS.
