There is officially a new head teacher as of 2025, which you would hope would bring positive change. No, they are removing more toilets from students due to "safeguarding" meaning students can't use the toilets without walking ages, and most of the toilets tend to be on the other side of the school so you have to go through a massive inconvenient gate which you consistently get stuck at for ages meaning you end up missing most of your learning. Bullying goes unresolved as a person who reported a fellow student securely harassing me and nothing was done about it. A lot of the teachers are even leaving because they even realise its going to shit. If you are a parent looking for schools for your children DO NOT SEND THEM HERE, IT COULD BE EXTREMELT DAMAGING TO THEM. Not to mention that Ofsted have rated the quality of learning as bad anyway, its not a good place for children to go even forgetting all of the other bad sides of it.

One of the most know human right on the planet is that you should be able to use the toilet this school and a lot of other schools have chosen to slide this human right to the side so they can do what they want and there are no walls on the boys toilets and prison bars on the girls toilets
Shocking
The school is shocking. Bullying is rife teachers are fresh out of university so dealing with teens is optimistic. Head isn't interested very judgemental unless EHCP in place doesn't care. Some teachers are good but overall look elsewhere for a senior school.

this school is so so bad i don’t recommend it in any way shape or form. so many bullies and fights take place in this academy. it causes so many mental health issues and the teachers don’t even help and don’t even try. the teachers also have no clue on what there doing.

I was a student at Shire Oak and I only lasted 3 years (Year 7-9). They pity assaulters. There are many fights and a lot of bullies. I just genuinely don’t recommend the place.

I am a student at this school teachers very boring and make learning terrible the hand sanitiser is very sticky and boys toilets have stalls in hallway.

its a very good school some teachers dont know how to control their calls and the social distancing is very bad when switching lessons but well put out on times for lunch and break
