Exhausting damaging school ethos.

They bullied my son for being different for not fitting in the teachers did nothing except a genetic assembly on bullying. The boys are brutal -years 7-10 are the worst years 8 snd 9 are insufferable. Strange ethos that school. They mess with your brain and you learn to enjoy the bullying and normalise it so he didn’t want to leave as this would appear weak. We re in therapy for 2 years now. It’s a toxic place. Moffat is a middle class middle age white man who thinks the sun revolves around him. This attitude of superiority feeds everyone. Women teachers seem suppressed. Male ego at its best. If you’re not too dog at sports you’re weak.

Toxic masculinity - Andrew tate/ right wing

Not known for compassion inclusivity, Broad kindness, empathy or kindness. Staff can be good but the toxic masculinity runs from the top. Lots of micro aggression and subtle banter bullying that mentally affects the boys. The school pushes terribly. If you’re not a jock or a nerd or a Chopin you will struggle. School is stuck in the past snd it produces sadly a majority of emotionally constipated snd socially awkward terms. Women are either feared or ridiculed. The nacho culture exhausting for many.

Not bad but can do better

Not going to lie it is a good school. But they favour smart intellectuals who h is fine because it is a very high standard school. But there are students who try very hard but they are forgotten and not supported.

Outstanding and unchallenged

Unlike a lot of boys at the school I joined in year 9 having been to a different grammar school in Kent and so I have a much greater appreciation for the quality of education I receive here. Almost all of the staff are incredibly knowledgeable in their respective fields and free thinking and debate is highly encouraged. Throughout my time their I have felt less like I’m learning for an exam and more like I’m learning for the sake of becoming a better person .

My thoughts on Simon Langton Boys School

Very friendly and helpful staff, lessons are taught in a way that keeps you interested and eager to learn more. I am thoroughly enjoying my time here at The Langton and can't wait to get back after this lockdown.

Excellent school

Excellent school. Caring for each individual child. All teachers and staff do their best for the children and have high expectations.
