Ignore what the sign says near the exit.

I'm currently in year 11 and to be completely honest, the good thing about this school is the people you meet, some new friends and some Brilliant teachers. However, some teachers come down on you like a ton of bricks and sell their subjects at the GCSE open evening as something worth doing, when in reality, over half of the people who chose those subjects, failed greatly in mocks. Some teachers refuse to help you if you simply misheard them, which completely defeats the point of teaching. They have expelled certain people from the school, who have done arguably less worse things than other pupils and those other pupils seem to get only isolation because of other academic factors which clearly gives of a feeling of unfairness and favouritism. It seems the school only cares about reputation more than the safety of the students. Bullying is a problem, all they do is send them to isolation and then ignore anything from that point onward. Away from the topic of teachers, let's talk about the buses. We all pay good money to catch the buses to and from school and half the time, they are half an hour to an hour late. They also fail to tell us when the bus is late. Talking about the good sides of the academy, they have a good range of clubs, revision sessions for year 11s and a good range of GCSE options. I do not recommend computer science or art. (That's the subject most of us are failing because of certain teachers and how they teach). They do introduce you to the school well in year 7, but after that year it's clear you are on your own unless you have friends. They seem to care less and less about you as you move up until year 11. Speaking of the time we leave, we have to leave at 12:15pm which gives us hardily any time to say goodbye to everyone because of lessons and assemblies etc. On the bright side, we do have a prom.

Apart from the very little times they say they care, it's a waste of money and time, the only reason most of us ended up here was because other schools were out of places.

Think twice before sending your kid here

Honestly it’s not the best school in the world but, I enjoyed it for what it was and made the most of it.

My experience at will rob was .............. ok?? as another comment said the lessons were good but it all depended on which teachers you would have, one of the worst teachers I have had is, mr sehdiki as he would give any one a stage for doing literally anything (I’m surprised I didn’t get a stage for breathing!) the P.E. lessons were good when we weren’t with the higher set as the teachers that favourited them more would make crap teams, e.g. one team will have 10 high set students the other team would have 9 lower set students. I got towards the end of school when I started refusing to do P.E. . I can remember counting the amount of English teachers we had at SWRA and the total was 11 so one day I was being taught one thing the next day being taught something else and the following day we would be taught the exact same thing we got taught the day before.

Another thing that wasn’t the best at school was the food, some was alright and all the cooks were lovely and treaded you with respect. The food was not the best though.

I would love to give the school a higher rating but from my experience, I would struggle too.

Alot of errors

The school is good I guess, it seriously needs cleaner tables and toilets, you've even got a teacher saying they hate children and on top of that the bus service is terrible if you live in Grantham apart from all that it's a fairly good school, meals, sports, lessons are sometimes enjoyable, the lessons here depend on the teachers to make it enjoyable but some can be boring, one teacher is almost always late for class and the outside is always crawling with litter everywhere. Apart from that it's ok.
