Poor standards
Teachers can’t teach. Very low standards by staff and a lot of parents. Very socially deprived area which causes kids to have poor standards, teachers spend too much time dealing with things that need to come from the parents. Most of the teachers are young and have a lack of experience and professionalism. No decent teachers want to work there or stay long. Most of them are just there because it pays better than Butlins and there is nothing else for them to do in Skegness. If your unfortunate enough to live in the catchment area but your not mentally and socially deprived take your child to a better school somewhere else so they don’t get dragged down with the scum here….
Skegness Academy Review as a student.
Generally, as a well behaved student of school, I believe it is a good school. Yes, it does need a few improvements however, I enjoy it.
My experience at Skegness academy so far
Really bad,communication is key for this school but it doesn’t apply to this school. And it isn’t run amazingly like other schools in the area
Terrible, shut, no support, ect
This school is terrible as they don't clean much and the staff are poorly trained and don't give much support to students that need it. They allow lots of people in the sen room where it should be quite but not. This school
Also provides terrible hours and days off as they are always off about 40 extra times a year. This school should be closed down on my behalf.

I attended the school years ago when it was still called the ST clements college.
And from reading the recent reviews, I take that nothing has changed... it's still a hell hole full of bullying and teachers who propably hate being there too.
Makes you think whey they change the name so often doesn't it.
In fact, I hated it so much, I burned the school tie on the last day, luckily despite failing my GCSE miserably there, I went on to graduate from a good university, so keep your heads high kids, and stay strong, the bad days will pass and you will come on top of it, never forget that.
P.S. the only reason why I don't give it the WORST possible rating, is because at least it's located in a small town, without the gang culture like some schools in London or the Midlands, so while you will get abused, you're unlikely to get stabbed or robbed.

Terrible school
Too many bratty year sevens think that they're the shit. Also too many chavs and roadmen, Jesus Christ don't get me started on them. Teachers don't do shit when you get bullied, they make us stand outside in the freezing cold every morning to do a "uniform check" they don't even do a uniform check so there's no point in us freezing outside then. There's so many bad things about this school that I cba to talk about

This school is bad the teachers think they are all that only because they carry around keys and a walkie talkie. The males teachers tell girl too pull down there skirt which is wrong i think. If you change your gender they seems too get away with alot of things which is straighaphobic... If someone has been racist they say wright a statement but they dont do nothing about it how silly

hate this place
this school genuinely sucks so much. me and plenty of other LGBTQ+ students face so much bs compared to other students JUST BECAUSE we’re “not normal”. i’ll be here all day if i mentioned everything. lunchtimes suck aswell, bc

2. half of the bistro is closed off for no goddamn reason and u get told off for getting up when ur literally getting harrassed to move
3. bc of separate lunchtimes most decent teachers aren’t even available to talk to bc of their tutors

Makes me suicidal
The school badly provides education because sometimes you get teachers that will just show questions on a board and tell us to do them without any knowledge about them questions. Also when choosing a subject for your options, you would really want to learn and get better at that subject that you chose but the teachers would teach a certain thing about that subject up to our gcse's which is stressful because you need to know more things about that subject and you would actually need to enjoy it but school said no. Also this school doesn't help with bullying at all, someone would get called names and slurs and the teacher WOULD hear that but they don't do crap about it, they just go "be quiet (insert student name)" like that doesn't help at all, this school makes me want to kill myself honestly.

super unequal and there’s so much favouritism, some kid will blink and get 50 positives and then another one could clean the entire school with just a toothbrush and get 1. what a joke. also, teachers don’t care about bullying and won’t do anything if someone calls u 4 slurs. they def serve dead pigeons in the bistro as well

Not that good during pandemic feel unsafe
Don't feel safe during the pandemic when I'm there no social distancing or bubbles they say we are in bubbles but we are not instead we walk down the packed corridors seeing at least 10 students from different year groups won't be surprised if someone else gets coronavirus in the school.
