It’s a school of hypocrisy and double standards. The teachers only listen to their favourites, whilst ignoring the educational requests and needs of the other people.
yes it can be a good school but everyone is treated unfairly i’ve reported so many things about sexual harassment and all they got was a lunch and when i kicked of about it they still did nothing it’s not right and i get targeted because of my special needs i have told them they still treat me like i don’t know nothing and i don’t know how to behave screaming at me and giving me unnecessary punishments. they suspend me because i was with my mates and they swore at a teacher and jst because i may not behave the best suddenly i have said something that’s not okay and they need to sort it out there are some good pastoral and teachers but some are awful. the SEND head dose not know how to help and she needs to learn better sort it out.
The old headteacher was extremely unfair to students and would deliberately give extreme punishments for something little like pushing in the lunch queue getting given internal suspension. One of the assistant headteacher told me she wasn’t going to mark my course work because I was talking in one lesson we wrote it and then when she gave everyone there marks she covered mine with her hand so I couldn’t see it. Another incident Is when one of the science teachers pulled a student outside and said another student had “no potential” and that two other students were “never going to get employed” because the three of them were laughing at a joke one of them made. However some of the pastoral staff are very nice and understanding and really show how much the job and the students mean to them.
No wonder my friend got bad GCSE results. Because she thought she was a failure. Some teachers are paid to be nice. And they don't treat the normal students who aren't "special students with needs" which they still need support or need to be seen and heard when they talk about a bad teacher. Yes the school loves only jesus and god but they simply don't care .about other students, just have the grades and the school uniform (just like how the other review says) My friend is simply a great person and her school days were dog water
They mainly focus on looking smart and don't focus on the wellbeing of their students. Yes they do assemblies but they don't actually so anything about a bad situation.
This school does not really care about their students if they anything but ‘normal’, even a child who’s quiet will get treated poorly by most teachers thus saying some are kind but most aren’t. This school main policy is about tolerance but doesn’t take any bullying issues and lgbtq+ issues seriously, for example the school misgenders trans students. Even an instance of racism were the victim that was called a slur was being blamed for the situation. There were allegations of sexual assaults happening but teachers are not really concerned. The main priority is sports and grades but students always come last. There are really nice teachers there but there some who openly discriminatory towards oppressed groups (in certain classes ) and some teachers are even anti women rights.
