Not great..

After having my son leave this school to start secondary, i feel i have had enough experience with st barts swanley, i would say it was a border line poor/average school, the education is good enough the problem lies with the teaching staff, few members of the teaching staff have the reputation of being quite horrid to the children, one is a polish teacher whos quite sadistic, as well as a few other teachers there that have been known to bully the kids. Another issue is that only 72% of the students there speak english mostly polish and Albanian the parents have no interest in blending in and stick to their own clicks they also have the habbit of taking over events and make it traditional to their own culture. Also, being in swanley there is alot of dysfunctional familes that have there children placed there by socal services ect, some of these kids are violent and the school cant deal with them, a few of them have bitten, beat and bullied other kids to the point of hospitalisation. If you wish to see for your self, go the school at 3pm and take alook at the parents waiting, your see parents dressed in pyjamas, barely dressed at all, and some are quite clearly drug addicts. If i knew before my son started here i would of never allowed myself to pick this school for my son. The new headteacher is useless by the way, she just wants an easy job.
