Run, do not attend

The teachers don't seem to care, been dealing with bullying for a year and a half and still getting worse. An incident regarding sexual abuse, a prank phone call from a student at 9:30am because the teacher was asleep and just yesterday the police were called because my daughter was threatened to be stabbed with a long screw....and was soaked and put in a second hand uniform, plus she was told SHE might be sent home for her own safety ( never mind letting the culprits stay and her education suffer)....but have I received a phone call from the school informing me of any of this ( even though police were called)...NO, they cannot even be bothered to notify parents of their child's safety....I'm absolutely fuming, and my daughters halfway through yr10 so moving schools isn't an option at this point in mocks. They are an appalling school, if I could give them 0 stars I would.....DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE...

GCSE

If you value your self-respect, don’t go here.

I attended St Chads in from 2016-2021. It is the worst high school I have ever seen or had the misfortune of stepping into. From harassment from teachers and harmful language, raw food being served in the cafeteria, to comments about my body from supply teachers, to constantly interrupted classes and overall just a huge problem with respect from teachers full stop. In the last few months I was there, they got a new headteacher i can not name but if you go on their website you will see him. He made sexism remarks and kicked my year group (year 11’s) off the premisses without a proper goodbye. After the hard year with covid, we had been truly treated like nothing but muck off their shoes. To add salt to the wounds, they screwed most of us over with our GCSE results and gave people less than they worked for and deserved. I’m hurt to have to write this review, but I hope it helps someone in avoiding the same mistake that I made. St Chads is not a high school, it is a mentally abusive school with entitled and horrible adults as teachers.

Bad school

This school doesn’t prioritise students mental health or education, it has a severe budgeting problem, many teachers are outright disrespectful and rude to their students, and it has failed them in almost every single way imaginable.

Not recommended

It's one of the better schools but it's still terrible. It's mainly the students misbehaving but some teachers are not very kind
