Drama at St johns
I do not enjoy going to this school I believe some teachers hate kids and I believe the school is riddled with bullying and annoyance but there are some positives I do believe the arts ( especially drama ) is great

my sister went here and at tge end of yr 11 they wouldng give her her gcse results or certificates so she couldn't enroll to college until later
best school in bishop
teachers can be very supportive. however have very mixed guidance in uniform. school meals are decent sometimes. bullying happens a lot between sides of the year M. A. R. Y. and J. O. H. N. they have recently upgraded the school with state of the art toilet blocks in the science corridor.

I found this school horrendous. I know i got a+ all round but the food 🤮. I'm not picky but wow. what i had to go through.

I'm being bullied at this very moment I was bullied last year to and the year before litteraly all that is done is you have a chat with the bully/bullies "Make up" and get called a snitch like how is that sorting out bullying in a no bullying tolerance school I'm also homosexual so I get bullied fr that and the fact that I'm "weird" yes I am weird but I love that part of myself along with all the other parts of myself xoxoxoxo A.H
Great school needs touching up on though
The no bullying policy needs keeping an eye on fights break out on occasion there are injuries other than that most teachers are great

I was bullied relentlessly for the whole 5 years I was there. It has took a toll on my mental health, I still remember every one of those names.
The teachers do not care about the bullying that takes place in their grounds, they will happily shove it under the rug and blame the actual victim. We ended up with the police involved twice for it because the head of year decided it wasn’t worth his time any more.
I can’t say I single time when I genuinely felt safe in the school grounds.
The school counsellor is terrible, doesn’t take you seriously.
Requests to access my files were denied.
Honestly, if you care about your kids wellbeing, safety and long term mental health, don’t let them go to St Johns. I wish we knew before I enrolled

Terrible school
My experience with that school was horrible, they kick everything under the carpet when they know they are in the wrong, They lie, there are some awful teachers there that only have satisfaction in the popular kids, basically it’s a shithole and I wouldn’t send my children here

Honest review from a former student
I would not personally recommend this school to anyone but especially students who don’t fit norms.
When I was at the scjool, I was constantly ridiculed and bullied.
Teachers do NOTHING when homophobic bullying takes place and mental illness is not taken seriously at all.
The scjool priorities constant work and academics over the week being and all together care of the students.
Although things may have changed now, I very much doubt they have.

Worst school in north east
This school is just crap on every level. What else can i say.
DO NOT GO TO ST JOHNS SCHOOL!!!
This is the worst school I have ever been too. The teacher's are the worst thing to happen. They cannot handle bullying and they cannot handle the students. The food was inedible and disgusting. I had to move due to the lack of handling bullying. I was forced to move due to having a death threat. The teachers were horrible and didn’t understand that they needed to help kids through depression. This school is awful. The school was dirty and the toilets were broken. The toilets didn’t flush and there was no toilet roll in there ever. The sanitary bins were always full and stunk like fish. The roof was falling off and was never fixed in the 4 years I was there. The sinks were broken and the water didn’t even work. There was never any soap and the was never any paper towels. The hand dryers didn’t work either. The lift didn’t work and when you would go in it would stop and you would be stuck in there. The call button didn’t work so you would have to call the school off your phone. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL. IT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE!!!!
