Teacher Being Completely Disrespectful
There was a specific time period when a student had shit in a bin, Mrs Gail Reader was the teacher to pull multiple students out one by one and ask them if they had seen or done it. I knew a student who got pulled into a room and was asked if I had done it. Gail asked “I know you didn’t do it but i’m just double checking” the student said “no I didn’t do it” Gail then repeated and I quote “are you sure , is it a cultural thing or”. The girl who got accused and disrespected did not even know how to come about she didn’t think a 50 year old fucking women could be so stupid .

Rude office staff. I can’t put a 0 but believe me I would. I wouldn’t send a child with an EHCP there. I nearly got a fine because my child was in hospital? If your child is ever ill they need proof ? Some teachers are okay. Taking my child out of circulation just because she had either nails on (natural nails) or a piercing in. When some of your staff are wearing eyelashes ,nails. I wouldn’t send your children here.

it's a good enough school and it will get you through your GCSE's but if I was you I wouldn't go there. there are a lot better schools and St Marys is really really strict. I'm happy I guess but that's just because I have amazing friends but being a pupil at Leyland st Marys isn't fun. I dont know personally but I have friends with mental health issues and they have said that they don't help you very well or take things like that very seriously. the best thing about it is the chaplain Anthony who is amazing, you can go to him with any issue and can guarantee that you will come away feeling a lot better.

its quite strict but its just how the teachers are but overall its a pretty good school
