Coming from this school I really wouldn’t recommend sending your kids here unless you hate them. St Peter’s only cares about one thing and that’s how they look on paper. But inside the actual school you’ll find teachers who bully the kids, kids bullying the kids and nothing but neglect. They couldn’t care less about the kids mental health as long as they look like a good school from the outside. I was asked by the school what I wanted to do when leaving and when I told them I wanted to be a nurse I was told by the teachers to be more realisitic and that I wasn’t smart enough for nursing. Anyways I’m a nurse now. Also I was bullied horrifically and abused at home and was considering something very permanent so I reached out for help from the teachers only to be told I was just “attention seeking”. Everyone I know who attended this school as a student has had issues later on in life because of the way they were treated here. And most of the students I went to school with hated the school. Don’t let some ofsted review trick you into thinking it’s any good, I was a student when ofsted visited and the visits were as fake as the tooth fairy. There might have been one or two good teachers but that’s about all this school has going for it. Not to mention how badly they look down on kids from working class backgrounds. If I could give it 0 stars I absolutely would.
Good education but mental health is horrible. Multiple suicides in only 2 years!! Headteacher needs to be replaced as he only cares about grades and reputation. Sad, as this used to be on of the best schools in Surrey. But now it has gone overboard with strict rules, lazy teachers, and overall lack of care for students. Also do not recommend if your child is "different" in anyway, most students and teachers are not tolerant.
