Amazing School. Our daughter couldn’t be happier having just started in reception. Lovely environment with amazing teachers and staff. Wrap around care also fantastic. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

RIGID + CONTROLLING Child started Reception already reading & writing. I said we're exercising legal right to send part time before Compulsory School Age. Head said school didn't agree - as if they could over rule us. Email said to step back & that parents should only contribute small elements to their child's education. On day 2 she came home with a note she'd been made to write saying 'won't tidy up'. School wouldn't differentiate. When I uploaded videos showing what she could do & asked for an additional/harder book I was told to stop uploading videos. She was ignored on every homework task (nothing appropriate). Made to read same book 5 times even though fluent on 2nd read. Sprained her ankle when big kid slammed into her, school not watching, mixes all ages. Hurt her head on gate going into school, I asked teacher to give us a minute but she carried poor child away screaming. Uses shame-based control, e.g. children's names removed from a rainbow for other children to see.
