My review of stoke high school as a student from 2015-2020
Terrible
The school does nothing when you tell someone you are getting bullied and they don't care about your mental health also the canteen prices for food and drinks was ridiculous too over priced. You now can get detentions for talking without sticking your hand up so I would never recommend this school to anyone

Stoke high school has gone down hill since the new head teacher started everything is now a consequence it doesn't matter if you don't do anything wrong you will always get in trouble for no reason. The attendance officer sanctions students daily like pokemon cards for reason. Stoke allows racist and homophobic teachers/students remain in the school. Yet in their assemblys they claim to have a 0 tolerance for any bullying. This is false information because the teachers are bullies themselves. I do not recommend thuis school at all it has torn me apart and ruined my mental health. The teachers are verbally abusive , some teachers have physically attacked me and other students for no reason. I have informed ofsted and told them that I have recording proof of these alligatons. Yet no response from ofsted, this is very unprofessional from and the suffolk police because I had informed them of the abuse and nothing has happened. I suggest that someone takes action because this is unfair to everyone well being and its even more embarrassing because they are adults that are supposed to be teachers for young adults.

it is not great. most students are rude and the teachers are not nice either, however there are a few that are. no help with mental health and no support given either.

I was bullied for having a disability I couldn't control I was always depressed and teachers didnt care they let a 30 yr old man in our school as a student the music teacher is verbally abusive teachers cause me to have very bad mental health I now go therapy, pshe is useless I was never taught how to pay Bills and such but I learnt about witches that will be very useful during Quarantine my mental health went down alot and I couldn't cope with how much work there was thr girls bathrooms are VILE they do not empty the waste bins for female products maybe empty it once a month, the teachers give me un-easy vibes I have no classes i feel safe in

Just a fair warning, if you do send your kids here, there’s a 99% chance they will deal with horrific bullying on a daily basis and all the teachers will do is tell them to keep quiet because it will ruin the school’s reputation
