think twice before putting your kid here
so i am still a students at birley and i just want to say the students are so bitchy and snakey , the teachers dont care about your mental health or bullying its an absolute joke. in y7 i got bullied on my first day and ever since i reached middle y8 they slowed the bullying down but i was so depressed and i would try to get my slef suspended so i wouldnt have to come to school.

TERRIBLE
The school has so so so so HORRIBLE teachers!!!!!!! And they expect you to respect and listen to them but they don’t respect you at all like AT ALL I have been to isolation for the silliest and stupidest reasons ever. You need a pass to go to the toilet?!?!?!?? Could be better
Left in year 8, hated every second of it. Supplies all the time, they do nothing about bullying. Left gates open and someone came in and we had a lock down, 3 injured. Great curries tho

Don’t send your child here!!!!
I am a student and I’ve not been here a while however there has been many fights and the teachers don’t care about bad behaviour. I thaught this would be an alright experience as it’s a new school. I already feel drained after being here for a few weeks and don’t even get started on the homework there is many pages and it takes ages while if u don’t do u will get a detention. Remember think twice before going here

DONT GO BIRLEY PLEASE!!!!
I am going to this school and its fucking shit my first day in birley I got bullied like 2 months later I got in a fight with them and teachers thought I started it and I got in 1hr detention and the students are racist they make fun of girls in hijabs and its not funny its mostly y7s and 8s that are bullies

shithole
Headteachers a joke sits on her arse all day and does nothing , kids get rewarded for being naughty , not allowed to go to toilet in lessons but yet at dinner and break people are sat vaping in them. Their excuse is they don’t get to go to the toilet either but they have Atleast 2 free periods a day where they can go. Unfair treatment overall but icl schl dinners banging them white chocolate cookies are all I go for. Gina newton headteacher comes in around once a year- haven’t seen her since y7 also big up mr guy ?

They hate us
The kids have (almost all) bullyed me since y7 and the school did fuck all about it. only 3 teachers are actually nice. the school dose not give a shit about our wellbeing/mental health. No matter how manny statements I write nothing gets through and it an over all shit place.

hi im a kid who went to birley and trust me its not the right place to go the place is nice inside and ouside but the people there are discust me i got bullied there dont send your kid if you do it be either you get builled or turn into a bad person my bestfriend geos there she turned into a bully and still is so take it from me from a person who got bullied at that school DONT SEND YOUR KID x
