Great grades bad student experience

The school get excellent grades and excellent ofsted reports. But they don't treat the kids equally they very much favour rich and popular children. There real problems with racism and bullying. This comes from the teachers aswell as the children I honestly wish if have sent my children to a different school they hate the school and to be honest it feels like the school hate them . They will often let certain people get away with things and blame minorities or poorer children for the situation. If your child isn't the most popular or outgoing I'd consider other schools as bluecoat only stand by popular and high achieving students . I wouldn't recommend bluecoat to any other parents

Amazing

Both my children went to Blue Coats School, Emily and Ethan Noon, they both got fabulous G.C.S.E results and amazing A Level results. The professional teaching staff were amazing, I couldn’t fault anything at all. I would highly recommend this School, regardless of which faith you belong too. My daughter got a first in her degree at Manchester University and my son is still in his first year at Manchester University. Excellent School.

students horrible.

pupils are all absolutely horrible, i'm bullied for no reason and the students write nasty things on the wall, spread around explicit videos and pictures, vape in the toilets and are downright horrible. don't recommend blue coats whatsoever i'm changing schools because of how bad it is - academically however, is a great school in certain subjects, particularly maths, english and sciences. teachers don't handle things properly in which a lot of them are very rude but i do learn quite alot.

Do not send your children here

Bullying, racism, homophobia, sexual harassment is tolerated, the worst pastoral care for children experiencing difficulties

Horrible

This school does have good grades. But that is it. There is absolutely no good support system for the pupils. They are more focused on uniform and grades than the students mental health.
60% of the staff are bullies. They don’t care about the actual well-being of students, and if you feel you have been treated unfairly, I was once taken into a room with multiple teachers ganging up together.
Nothing is done about bullying.
Do not send your child here. They will not be cared for. The pupils are treated like numbers and grades and not young adults with feelings and thoughts.
Worst 5 years of my life.
The cafeteria is also ridiculously overpriced for the food you get. Makes it hard to eat well everyday.
Absolutely horrible school.

Horrific

This school is horrific they train us all to be robots from not even having are hair down i experianced 2 years of serious bullying from name calling to been pushed infront of a bus (wilse teachers were there) nothing ever happened to the people that did this to me despite saying what happened numoures time to teachers and even assistant heads they care more about grades then students mentalhealth and wellbeing if your not a high achiever no one cares about you as well as being a very sexist school

Do not send your child to this school

In this school teachers care more about skirt and hair length then pupils mental health they care more about how high ur scores are on tests then issues such as racism and sexism and homophobia. Pupils being racist get escorted through school because teachers are scared for them instead of being put in isolations or suspended . if you care about your child you will not send them to this school .

Definitely would not recommend

The establishment cares more about the uniformity of students and not allowing them to express themselves (even down to not letting them wear badges) than actually making sure they are happy and healthy. The pastoral staff are sub-par and many of the members of the senior leadership team are comparable to bullies. They choose certain children to fixate over and police like prisoners. They act as if students expressing their opinions are disrespectful and say it is talking back. Many of the policies are anti poc such as policies on hair and issues such as homophobia, misogyny and racism are very prominent and not met with the proper discipline you would expect for such serious issues. Definitely would not recommend this school.

Average

It's great for learning and education, however students cannot express themselves in any way, not even allowed hair down. Some of the teachers make innapropriate comments and some are racist. It definitely shows white supremacy.

Not as good as you think

Some teachers are extremely racist and the rules and dress codes are a huge example of the school portraying white privilege!!!
