Cannot deal with bullying
The staff are decent, but they don't know how to get a grip on any of the students behaviours! I was bullied all the way through and what did they do? Absolutely nothing. Maybe if I wasn't being harassed constantly and it was dealt with before it went too far, then maybe my grades wouldn't have been effected. My parents came in on many occasions and we were visibly very upset about the school not dealing with it. They tell the students to tell the teachers everything bad that happens and then basically tell the student you've told them, and it makes it worse because now you are a "snitch". And when Ofsted come in to review it, the rules suddenly become stricter so that they can keep up their good reputation. Not deserving of the high rating for sure.

great staff who treated us as individuals and people. me and my mates passed exams. played in the sports teams and had teachers wh smiled

Good school?
This school is wonderful for those who excel in academics, those who fall short in subjects such as maths and english may struggle slightly more as the students here can be cruel in the lower sets.
students and staff
Staff are great but a lot of the students are disruptive, loud, homophobic and rude. Some teachers don't bother to deal with these kids and there's nothing available to do for those who fall victim to this until it reaches extremes.
Bad experience
I had an awful experience, I was bullied the whole way through and the teachers failed to do anything about it and even after leaving I’m still bullied by the same people. Wouldn’t recommend at all.
