The Coton Green Church Pre-School

We researched the Preschool utilising their excellent website and outstanding Ofsted reports. We were welcomed for an open day visit which confirmed all our research. The Preschool has a brilliant student led learning approach with lots of free play indoors & outdoors. The staff in both classes were welcoming, warm and friendly- it truly does have a family feel. The phased start really helped my 2 year old settle at a pace that was good for her especially after spending 18 months of her life in lockdown. The facilities are great with some great outdoor learning spaces. Her key worker and Preschool manager communicate very effectively and are always there to listen and support- it is truly a team effort to holistically support the child. The health visitor team was also impressed with Preschool's personalised and detailed 2 year review. One of my biggest concerns was being a parent of an ethnic minority child & her integration. The Preschool has always valued and appreciated our culture & language in so many different ways, they really do go above and beyond to not only teach equality and inclusion but to also implement it. The staff are fantastic and organise some amazing activities for the children which can be viewed on the Preschool's facebook page on a daily basis.
