I Miss Crestwood

School life was the best time at Crestwood. I attended 2014-2019 and had the best time. No I wasn’t popular and no I wasn’t the smartest but I did well & I loved the support that the school gave me. They give ample opportunities such as DofE and prefects and other programs & the teachers do really care & do the best that they can. All schools suffer from bullying etc and it does happen here, but that doesn’t make it a bad school. The facilities are brill and were being renovated as I was leaving. They put a lot of effort in to making every school day a positive one.

Not good school .

The teachers don’t listen to students, everything is a big act and the teachers just exclude students as soon as they can to get them out of there even though they should have a few more chances . The teachers say the will do things and then they don’t . Also fights are always happening at least once a day and teachers just exclude one for a day .

My opinion on the School

As a Student here who’s in their last year, in my opinion coming here is only for those who can really sacrifice their mentality, sanity, and self esteem for this. If you believe you’re down for the challenge then go on ahead, but not every school is this plastic. There’s arguments with teachers and students, fights left and and right in and outside school, people trying to act tough, students who don’t take anything seriously when it comes to education. Again, this is my opinion. But from my experience, this school isn’t as safe as it seems. We had a LGBTQIA+ Flag up for about a month or so until the new headteacher or someone removed it, and if kinda presented the place as an area of wonder. It would have to take a casual person to notice that the majority of the students either don’t support the LGBTQIA+ community or just intend to trash on others. Regardless, as a whole I don’t think that this school is for those who think they’ll be safe, because people will change by the end, and as a student here in their last year, I myself have changed a lot.

Terrible

I was a student at this school and I suffer from a few mental health issues. The school did nothing to support me during my time here making my time horrible. I was even told at points by members if staff that I was making up what I was feeling to fit in with others in my friendship group which just made the whole situation worse.

CrestWood is Absolutely bad

Coming from a former student ,
Crest wood is not the best school to go to bullying is not dealt with in the correct way nor is mental health in that school.lessons are not dealt with when behaviour in interrupting lessons.Teachers moan and argue with you over stupid things and put you in detention for nothing. The rules they have are appalling and not right for if you were to wear a jacket they would shout and you and not give you a warning what so ever.Another reason why crestwood is bad is Favouritism exist a lot through out the school as teachers pick and choose their favourite students, whenever their favourite student is misbehaving they just talk to them and don’t give them any consequences at all. They do not clean rubbish up at all. Also male teacher tell female students wether their skirt is to short or not which is very wrong as they should not be looking. This is some reason why crestwood is very bad

Reality Check

Dont go to Crestwood or in actual fact any school. It crushes you mental health dreams and hopes just so you look good on there end of year statistics. Be wise, break free from the chain of pain and suffering and become a farmer of parsnips. Will a parsnip ever reduce you to tears-i think not.

Not the best

Coming from a student:
Bullying is overlooked, Counselling there is basically just them saying 'Just try harder, it's easy' and offering no other support. If you need assistance for flexibility around the school it is impossible for them to even get anything right coming from others that have told me so and also from personal experience. People that think they know it all can do whatever they want in classes and can just walk out, some teachers do nothing meaning the class is being disrupted constantly. Most of my close friends are wanting to leave because of others there and it not being dealt with properly or just because of what teachers are like.
Overall I only still go there because of friends and some teachers.

It’s not the worst school but not the best

Not the best school but you deal with it, drug deals often happen in the corridor and bullying is everywhere they do nothing to help at all. Teachers don’t care about the pupils but rather the way they look and the way the school looks.

From a student

I’m a student, there are signs everywhere to say social distance but it’s not enforced. We’re not supposed to mix year groups but this happens daily. One way system is not followed by students and teachers in some circumstances.
