The Croft Primary School

Although the school overall has very good teachers & the school is in a well placed location, the incident that has happened to my son on school grounds has caused great distress to myself & family. My son attended The Croft School, Swindon for a few years without any issues. The school then let in a new girl from Venezuela (A country renowned for violence) & she immediately started bullying other children. I noticed bruises on other children, the teachers were notified that this bully girl could cause a child serious injury, & the teachers said they will keep an eye on the situation. Unfortunately a week later my son was injured by the bully girl - with a rock to the face, only because he was in the playground at lunchtime in the wrong place at the wrong time & totally innocent. He now may be permanently scarred. I was not called at lunchtime when he was assaulted. Instead, I found out at the end of the day, after my son attended an after school class. I spoke to the headteacher who seemed concerned, but I believe the concern is about the reputation of the school rather than taking appropriate action. The bully girl received no punishment or suspension for her actions, her parents laughed off the incident and didn’t care, & no apology. The Wiltshire police were called and did nothing & Ofsted were also notified, put the incident to one side, & also ignored taking any action. It’s no wonder why so many injustices & despicable crimes happen in the UK as nothing is done and no consequences. I will probably be in more trouble for writing this review than my son’s perpetrator for assaulting him. I now know, that the authorities are useless & if I have to protect my family in future - I will have to take the law into my own hands & take legal action, because I’m just left to pick up the pieces & deal with the injustice myself.
