A good school that's on the up, despite what disgruntled parents and miserable ex-employees have been saying about it. Both my children go there and they love it: all the latest learning facilities, tech and sports equipment in this new-build (2019) establishment. Teachers and pastoral staff are very supportive. Every school has its problems although I can honestly say that I believe some of the negative reviews are akin to trolling. Keep going, Deanery!
This was good until the head teacher left and this school has really gone down hill and some of the teachers are just rude.
The most stupid thing is that there is 2 uniform check a day like why are they so worried about uniforms when we go to school for education
Unfortunately 1 star is the lowest I could rate! This school is absolutely horrendous, bullying is never sorted to the point children become suicidal then because that child cannot face school and the bullying anymore they threaten social services while offering no help to the child or to resolve it. They have absolutely no help for additional learning needs or nerodivergent children even when they say they will put things in place to help this never comes to light. Both t.a.m.s and c.h.a m.s mental health services have commented on their disgusting on how this school treats pupils and the lack of care and understanding from staff. Unless your child is a perfect a* student and confoms to a sheep mentality do not put them through this school. Headteachers have quit and teachers leaving constantly so you can never even see the same person to try and amend issues. I have yet to meet a parent that has anything good to say. Sending my child here was the worst choice I ever made.
Awful place. Should have gone elsewhere. Constant change of teachers. Bullying. Detentions given for minor reasons. A major let down.
Similar issues in Kingfisher c e academy.
don’t even come here the kids are on absolute badness the pay is probs bad can’t even afford glue sticks kids get suspended for water fights just pretty pants in general
Don't know where to start with complaining about The Deanery school in Swindon, there doesn't seem to be much discipline, and if they have an anti bullying policy it's not working. Broken doors in boys and girls toilets, reports of vaping, Teachers Lacking in skills academaly and morals. My Grandson attends this school so I have some knowledge of these problems , also from other parents. My grandson has been hurt on several occasions , and the schools answer seems to brush it under the carpet, and reward the bully . I am so dissapointed with the way this school is run. Perhaps they need stronger Leadership
