a very honest review
if your child has mental health issues, “different characteristics”, disabilities or any type of incapabilities, or literally ANYTHING, do NOT send them to douay martrys. this school promotes themselves by confidently stating themselves as things they are not. for example, everywhere online, they state they support students with educational needs and struggling with racism, labelling, homophobia and with mental health, well a teacher had told a young girl that her suicidal and depressive thoughts aren’t that serious and completely degraded her. she’s given out multiple hour and 10 mins detentions to students for needing the toliet in lesson, being quite literally a minute late to class despite the fact she’s 10 minutes late 95% of the time, she also told a student with educational needs who was discriminated against and labelled slurs and fought with that she’s being dramatic and silly for taking offence. she also had said that why did you expect them not to think you’ve stole their stuff, look at you (the boy was black, gets perfect grades, no detentions, and many merit points, known for being respectful by teachers and fellow students), she only said that because of the colour of his skin, clearly. a young bisexual girl had told this teacher that the homophobia she receives isn’t fair and the teacher said “really is it not”. mind you this is all by the same teacher, she has been reported several times but never fired. these students feel scared and frightened to even attend school because of her. me personally, i’ve experienced racism by teachers in this school, i’ve been called ugly by a teacher and many other things solely based off of stereotypes. if you truly care about your child’s mental health or even if you don’t want to deal with their struggles, DONT EVEN THINK about sending them to this school. mind you all the science teachers are horrible. everyone i have spoken to has regretted choosing this school. also, “place2be”, the schools therapy is so performative, they just tell you everythings fine and take you on a walk and expect you to see life as sunshine and rainbows because of their so called “help”. this institution is sickening.

i hate the school the food tastes like tarmac and the teachers are slow mentally i cant do anything because most of the time they just hand out sheets or just do the starters at the beginning of the lesson i cant bear staying here anymore thinking about leaving the only good things about the school are........

Lot of bullying and harassment
There is a lot of bullying and harassment at this school and the staff are not trained well to be able to tackle such issues. I suffered severe depression and anxiety. I only miss some people who were genuinely nice to me. Other than that I felt very oppressed at this school. Please don't send your children here. The campuses are so depressing. Sometimes I felt like I'm not even at a school, rather I'm in a jail.

Honest Review
Not great lol.. year 9's get some crusty playground to have their break in like what? People literally throw food around and the eating area is pretty vile after lunch, not only that but there's water fights etc. and teachers on duty seem disinterested and rarely interfere. When we line up to go to class, people literally are disorganised as heck and people throwing food is a major issue lol.. even though there's like 10 teachers standing right there, they don't seem to care less. Some teachers (What I've heard) have 0 interest in teaching their kids and either give out worksheets and do nothing for the whole period - like are they even qualified teachers or some long-term substitute teacher? Cant tell lol. Also, some people get stupid detentions like being late to class cause another teacher let them out late or insufficient homework even though the teacher is at fault for setting a generic description of what should be done, lame. Some teachers literally fail at trying to teach us, I'd probably teach better than some. Nothing to do at lunch unless you've got a ball, toilets on the cardinal hume campus are terrible and overall organisation is trash. The only good learning you'll get is if you're in top sets for your subjects and triple science, other than that, good luck. Bunch of roadmen gangs and sometimes I feel like I'm in a zoo not a school. Forgot to mention, some teachers are biased towards their more favourite students, if you're not their favourite you'll usually get picked on and called out for no reason, had that with my R.E teacher, such a schmuck.

I used to go to this school and I was lead to believe it was the “best of a bad bunch” this was incorrect and I have left this (respectable) institution with more mental health issues due to student indecency and staff incompetence I will go into detail below
FirstlyI had my hand super glued to my head and couldnt move it I was sent to hospital
I also had a teacher had grabbed me by the hair to restrain me
Later on I had a teacher tell me to hang my self before the gene pool is disgraced with your presence I also had been bullied for several year after I was told to stand at the front of the class and sing a song and got an erect when I sang “once I was 7 years old” the teachers also asked me to make sure I always wear a sock down there because it’s quite small
