Overall management of the school

Great teaching staff

Whenever there has been an issue or incident at school the staff have dealt with it promptly and have called me to inform me. Children need rules and boundaries in the home too and their poor attitudes and disrespectfulness should not just be left for the teaching staff to deal with.

It’s okay.

Overall school was okay. I left with decent grades and some good experiences. There was some amazing opportunities, like ski trips and reward days out, but under new management, trips don’t happen as frequently, if ever. Personally, I had a few really good teachers that did after school intervention that helped me achieve top GCSE grades whereas others didn’t really care. Behaviour was a large issue when I was there as that was a big distraction and focus. If you have a passion for performing arts or sport then it’s got great facilities, otherwise it’s just a school. I would recommend it but experiences vary and I don’t think many would agree.

My point of view

Most teachers there don’t care at all half way through my GCSEs my teachers left only to supply teachers which didn’t know how to teach, the naughty kids and the kids with learning disabilities where classed at the “same”, they payed no attention to the kids who actually needed help, they did nothing about bullying and couldn’t make their mind up about time tables so students were just getting confused, all of the top set students got to go on maths trip and went to PGL, they got all of the focus, tbh I think they only care about money that school, yes some parts where really good like the music department where one of the teachers there actually cared about all of their students and helped them a lot, yet then it came to reward assembly’s you could see a pattern, and faverotism, I tried my best in that school I kept my attendence to 100% never got told off and did all of my work and handed it in on time and came up with good ideas yet I never got recognised for my work and I can possibly say the same for some last students aswell, all I have to say is that school really needs a wake up call and changed.

School

Honestly one of the worst schools. I have been a student for 5 years and I have been bullied for three and half and they did nothing and ignored it. The do nothing to help the kids with their issues. I personally know someone who spoke to a teacher and the outed the student to their parent and ignored their issue. They don’t help you in lessons unless you need a speak all teacher or are one of the really smart kids. If you want a good education don’t go their. In you want to stay in a mental state that is good don’t go their

Overall Very Good

It's a great school; bullying isn't a widespread issue, and when it happens staff immediately deals with it. Teachers are great, and it's overall a good school environment to be in.
