I go to this school, there have been multiple sex offenders, that sell Images of children aged 11. This school is appalling, the staff have evidence of this incident, police have not been involved and the students still remain at the school. I would leave but I only have a couple months left. Parents do not send your children here it is disgusting.

Safeguarding needs alot of work
I went to this school since year 10 and the trauma the school has caused me and my mental health is not worth it, whilst there are some amazing media teachers I didn't have any half decent teachers untill year 12. The safeguarding person is absolutely apauling and has cause alot more issues than solved. In terms of media this school is decent as you get to use equipment (I'm now in the industry) but I don't think it was completely worth it for the wreckage that was caused to my mental health. One teacher in particular has said on multiple occasions that I'm a failure, however some of the teachers are half decent.

It's tolerable but would not recommend
The school does teach you, just not very well. The teachers are underqualified. I haven't passed a single English exam since I've been there (and I used to get 7/8 in english) as well as most of the teachers not knowing what they're talking about half the time. You don't do pe and they force you to do arts award, even if you don't wish to have that qualification. I wanted to study video editing and yet I haven't been able to even touch any of the equipment properly. Not the best school but some of the students are nice.
Don’t bother
I’m gonna leave global with more trauma than I went in with. Don’t believe the adverts they’re overcompensating. I haven’t had a qualified media teacher in my entire time here, and this year they made it five lessons a day instead of six, which means less learning time in GCSE year. And Jesus Christ they can’t handle mental health for shit. We don’t have a school nurse, let alone a counsellor. Oh and the only member of staff that is technically SEN qualified is shit at helping people. Don’t come here if you want to escape your old school it’s not worth it. Oh and we also haven’t been able to go outside since last maybe October. And you will do PE once a half term as a ‘well-being day’ it’s bullshit

for every tiny drop of education you gain a metric TONNE of trauma please dont go here if you want to stay happy, especially if you think you might be autistic, adhd etc, trust me id do anything to unlive that time. i've been groomed and somehow going to global harmed me more and is harder to think back to. don't take this as a one off anecdote, they will lie to you in the interviews. kids are leaving en masse for a reason. anyone can jump over the railings with ease, and when kids are cornered and legitimately harassed daily, when fights break out on the second floor...it becomes more severe than just an aesthetic choice. even if you're neurotypical and completely incapable of struggling in school, it won't be pleasant watching things like that go down.
