The Holt School

From my experience as a student in this school it's an Okay school it's not the best when it comes to dealing with students with special needs or mental health issues but it's goof if you want good grades at GCSE or a levels.

As a current student in year 7 this school is mostly good apart from the amount of time they give you to revise and learn,the teachers are also mostly good apart from some that are rude don't give you second chances and give you detentions like it's a type of currency. There are two things about the school that is the worst first there Is the cafeteria,they say they have exceptional food which is not true and some times the food is not cooked plus they charge way too much with the christmas dinner being expensive and have barely anything with half of it not edible and they force you to finish it, the staff working there apart from two is absolutely racist and rude (One time I walked through the wrong door and they reported me to I don't know who and asked for my name like what????!!!!!).the second is how they manage and be greedy and prideful they think they are the best school especially they think that they teach us sooo good that they had different old students say how good there school is , the fact is that if you think it's good because of the ratings don't they are tricking you so don't but some teachers and staff are really nice and fair but most are horrible and they are like military soldiers, catching you with a rolled skirt they will give you a warning then straight to a detention without regret at all,but I don't wear i skirt so I don't know. Over all a pretty mid school apart from the horrible staff and technology that often don't work.

As a current student of the Holt School, I think its a brilliant school. There are so many opportunities available to students, like 70 extra-curricular activities to choose from, hockey, cricket, piano, film club etc. The school prepares students thoroughly for examinations, and the teachers are generally really supportive. Because of the school's high expectations of students, lessons on the whole run smoothly, and lessons are interesting. I think their recent "Outstanding" Ofsted rating is an accurate reflection of the school. I would highly recommend the Holt School to anyone, but particularly those who are willing to work hard, get stuck in, and have fun. I've had such great years with my peers, who I will really miss, when I eventually leave the "Holt School".

I GOT A’s ON EVERYTHING

half the teachers are pedos, the safeguarding is an absolute joke. THE FIRE ALARM IS BROKEN it goes several times in a day, is it reliable if there's an actual fire?? the teachers don't care about the students and the majority are awful at teaching. all the students are rude and bitches. the lessons teach you nothing then expect you to know so much when the test come up which are really frequent and stressful. There are too many tests. There are about one test per subject per term plus they don't give you any revision time for it maximum about one week.

what is this school my days. tell me why my form tutor was chatting with her football girls everyday while i was getting apples chucked at me on the bus??? why was it appropriate for a teacher to talk about WAP and viagra in a maths lesson? or what abt the teacher that talks abt mango chutney his pension and brexit all the time in geography? no bcs a whole grown man was holding my mates hand after lesson and telling her that she was his favourite. ive had ten million trillion form tutors (3) and im on the my fourth in year 10. a girl quite literally is insane and sent a girl to the hospital, pierced her own ears in lesson and vapes during lesson through her jumper has only just been suspended and is returning to school #dobetterbabes. some people literally have sex in a bathroom like? pastoral care is non existent and no one helps neurodivergent students. shoutout to my form tutor of two years i would like you, but i dont, you literally defended a white girl who wanted to say the n word babes. not to mention people literally self harming and you going off to chat with your favourites. if you are considering going here please dont - xoxo 3 holt girls
