Disorganised and lack communication skills
Had I known how disorganised this school was, I would not have sent my son here. He came here from an inefficient school, but this one takes the biscuit.
They fail to communicate with Parents about anything important and gaslight you. For example, they give you dates for Parent's Evenings, then cancel them and don't tell you and claim those dates were never set! No school reports given so far, despite being promised by the Principal that all students would receive one before the end of Module 4( Term 4 - Easter holidays - they can't even use the right terminology!)
If your child is suspended or has an internal suspension, they send you the letter confirming this after the suspension has happened, which is pretty useless.
Teachers fail to answer emails properly and as a parent you are forever chasing things.
They don't even have a system to notify Parents of what Homework is due in. It's a shambles and embarrassing. I can't believe they haven't been closed down.
Every time I say something, I'm made to feel like I'm causing a fuss.
My son is due to sit GCSEs next Year and I have no idea when his mocks are, when Work Experience is or what his predicted grades are. I feel let down.
They also send you worrying texts to say your child isn't in school when they are and sometimes you get messages saying your child has a detention when they haven't!

i was in class on my wheelchair until these kids started bullying me they then pushed me off my wheelchair and told me to stand up for myself

I am a student in this school, Trust me it is nothing to look forward to , My experience at the school is poor already and i have only been here 6 months. The teachers scream at us for asking for help, They make up things about us and spread rumors that we didnt do or say. my mate was held back from eating at lunch because she didnt understand the work. This school is a terrible place to go to and the teachers treat you like crap. DO NOT send your child here because it will make their lives a living hell. If I could give 0 stars I would. Take this message to thought before you think it is good or send your kid here!

im in year 8 and it is a waste of five years don't come into this hellhole it is very bad and no care to the students they give very little guidance and communication

School will not care for your child. If they get bullied, the leaders will not do anything about it. All the school cares about is attendance and their image, without giving a care about the children they are supposed to support and teach. And for some reason they blocked an innocent search engine from the school laptops for no apparent reason whatsoever. Send your child somewhere else, for their sake. 🔴⚪️
Constant removals/detentions
My daughter started here in September since then she has had nothing but trouble with her science teacher. Her and another child have been removed from class and given detention a number of times and she now dreads going to school. She moved my daughter closer to the front of the class to see the board, the next lesson she was removed from "not following the seating plan" this was an arranged moved with the teacher! Said teacher held a dirty bin inches from my child face and repeatidly shouted at her to spit out her chewing gum! She didn't even had chewing gum! She was then removed for not spilting out this imaginary gum! These are a couple of examples we're had a lot more!
Everytime I call the school to talk about the issue with this teacher no one is ever there to talk to me. And I am unable to make an appointment to see anyone face to face. When I was lucky enough to talk to someone I was told they would talk to her and get the issue sorted. Nothing has changed and she has been removed again.

Bullying for teachers.
Very unhappy with this school. Both my children attend her. One started in September this year. She has been picked on, removed from the class and given detention for no reason. The teacher gives no warning/reason or time for the child to explain what has happened she is just removed from class. (Example the teacher moved her seat one lesson to be nearer the board then she is told off for not following the seating plan. IT WAS THE TEACHER WHO MOVED HER! Everytime I call the school to complain no one is ever there to talk to me. I'm unable to make an appointment to talk to anyone face to face. All they want you to do is email them. I have spoke to 5 teachers who have said they will help my daughter. So far nothing has been done and the problem with this teacher continues. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Awful school with poor organisation. I spent 5 years of my education here and was severely let down. Some teachers are great, but the lack of challenging work and the school mainly focusing on students with lower grades meant higher performing students were left alone. Few to none extra curricular opportunities. Bias and favouritism from teachers, with patronising leaders. Only had 1 sports day (across 5 years). No sports teams (minus the occasional football match). Teacher over-inflating predicted grades. Students were banned from leaving bottom floor during breaks, meaning no access to areas for studying. If you want your child to have a fulfilling education then do not send them here.

It's a decent school. I wish the academics were more challenging and they offered more opportunities to improve though.
