The Link Academy

I absolutely cannot with the link it's awful. Please please don't send your child here it's not a nice place. Most teachers don't seem to care and only care reputation and the principal is always about "do better" this and that and that's she's not lowering her expectations. As a previous student here it's awful the amount of times I have broke down in this school because the amount of stress the teachers put on you and the upgrade for year elevens is exhausting I have developed mental health problems from stress I cannot keep up with it. There are a few angel teachers in this school such as Miss thacker and Miss Baker but half the pe teachers are so rude and always have a snobby comeback if you don't have your own kit or you want to talk about a problem. They always favour the popular kids who are usually always the loudest and meanest. They are about self expression yet the moment you do it's taken off youm they even banned jumpers cuz the principal was about correct uniform and shit it's so bad please don't send kids here

THE teachers dont help they give more stress. They are so fake. They will exclude you from school if u do somthing they wont even investigate what happend. Dont 't send your children here very bad school. They fake it so much when ofsted come that's why they got a good from ofsted. I moved to the link academy from walsall Blue coat academy . I would recommend going to blue coat academy the teachers care about u a lot. I miss them if I had a choice I would go back there.

I wouldn’t recommend this school poor education lack of help always get shouted at for no reason I think the 2 hour and 1 hour detention are pathetic and u get excluded sent to a different school for nothing it could be for the pettiest reason ever and I wouldn’t send ur kids there they don’t help u they be so fake when ofstead come and it’s so unreal

overall the school is alright but there really isn’t much freedom. for example there are toilets by the main dinner hall boys and girls opposite each other but it’s literally out in the open. each toilet has stalls which doors are either broken or don’t close but literally anyone can come in, there should be a door. secondly, the teachers are always giving out lines there are only some teachers that actually give out merits when you need them. another thing is is you’re inside during break or lunch (anywhere not inside the dinner hall) you get an hour detention at the end of the day and i think it’s quite stupid. obviously there are lots of other things wrong with this school but it’ll take too long to write. i wouldn’t recommend going here. good luck.

Made me genuinely want to kill myself (and I did x)

I'm in year eleven now at this school and have been here since year Severn since the school has changed from Hilcrest to The Link Academy things have improved quiet a bit the teachers are more supportive and there is less discrimination with people and religions there are also a lot of funding in this school and I am proud to be known as a member of The Link Academy.

id rather die to be honest the teachers still havent done shit about discrimination against minorities foods good though

Do not send your son or daughter here. It is a place where bullying and harassment is not looked upon but a hair grade too short means a day in what I can call solitary confinement.
