    Macclesfield academy should be permanently shut down!

    This school was absolutely atrocious i wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I faced constant bullying from teachers and pastoral i experienced shameless homophobia from many members of staff. I was ostracised completely by the teachers who refused to even acknowledge the fact i was SEN never mind put things in place to help me ! I was completely abandoned seen as a problem child instead of a child in need of help. They witnessed the endless torment I received from my peers and not only offered me...

    It’s not too bad…?

    I don’t think it’s a bad school, but there’s definitely lots of room for improvement. Firstly, the school says it opens at 8 AM- false! There are many kids who arrive early, and they are forced to stand outside until around 8:25 AM, which is extremely difficult during the cold winter months and during strong winds and rainfall, which is certainly not uncommon.     Mediocre shcool

    Its quite bad in terms of lgbtq rights at this school with some teachers being particularly bad, PB, RH, but the head is great and curriculum is outstanding.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    v good, enjoyed it here, only downside is the fact that there’s no sixth form, and only from looking at others nearby did i realise how lucky i was to have my 5 years here. will miss it a lot

    Good staff

    Lots of friendly staff and teachers with a good pastoral and behavioural team. However there are a sometimes bullying incidents at this school
