It soo bad I am in year 9 I ask for help in lesson it either “you wasn’t listening” or they send you out the class if your gonna send your kid their just for the best of your kid don’t I don’t recommend the school I have tried to reach out for help but nobody seem to listen I was bullied for three years I tried to reach out nothing happened and I stuck up for my self and I was made to be the bad one
No emotional support the hub is there but there is no understanding and your only allowed if you have a hub pass the hole school is rubbish I don’t recommend at all English teacher are horrible maths and science are too I can’t wait to see the back ends of martins I never thought I say that I wouldn’t send your kids their

Don’t go there
It a rubbish school no one sort anything out it doesn’t care about the kid mental well being they expect you to carry on even when you can’t I am in year 9 I have tried my best but most teachers aren’t even grateful if your going to send you kid there for the best of your kid don’t just my advice

The history department is to good for the school the place is full of chavs bullying is laughed at but the teachers make it seem like it’s heaven

Absolutely terrible the staff are rude don't listen to your problems if you're getting bullied they don't care are the schools covered in litter and you get an after school detention if you do one thing wrong would not recommend
Just a rant
It’s ok. I feel there needs to be way more emotional support and less pressure on pupils to be perfect. To follow every rule. We have a system in place called the prouder way. This is what pupils should follow at all times or else.

And this is all the time. No wonder most students are wrecks. It’s too much pressure and too intense. I don’t blame this on individual teachers. Most teachers are really brilliant with me. It’s the LAS constantly pushing for results and counting students as just another number or statistic. Constantly writing students off. And treating teachers with no respect at all. I care about lots of my teachers, they have been there for me when I had no one. And constantly being supportive.
I don’t think isolation is fair. Treating children like prisoners is not helping mental health and well-being and that’s what LAS prides themselves on - I don’t see it.
I’m not a number, I’m an individual ok. Whether you like it or not. Go fuck your selfs LAS. Making money of children’s education and then making there lives hell. It’s my education, not yours LAS
