The Mountbatten School

This school is fine. I have been here for ages heres what I have to say.

-geography are doing to much, please stop setting so many booklets no one does them and they way to long and that so yeah and paper 2 is taught is poor esp resource management

-English, please don’t make us do journeys end there are no online resources for it and it’s very hard to revise for

In my belief this school cares too much about students who are already passing and don’t do enough for students who need the help, also the pastoral team seems biased against student who are deemed as badly behaved even when they are struggling mentally.

The food here is great when not overpriced and I understand that the school needs to make profit but I don’t like going hungry

Also the music department need more funding as the lantern is actually falling apart

P.s the school has basically nothing to do with the royal family it’s a lie

Some teachers especially in the history department should not be allowed to teach ( if that's what they call it ) . These poor kids are demotivated and thoroughly miserable where is the support and encouragement they deserve!!

DO NOT send your children here. Most teachers are cruel and while putting an emphasis on anti bullying policies and mental health awareness, they’re happy to tell a student having a panic attack to ‘Shut up’ and putting them in isolation instead of listening to the child. Not to mention turning a blind eye when children struggling with mental health problems are blatantly upset.
I have even experienced a teacher humiliate me in front of my classmates as I was crying.
While attending this school there was an incident of a head boy using a racial slur against his classmate and after a short suspension, he was allowed to resume being head boy.
This school is an absolute disgrace. I came away from my 5 years at this place fearful of speaking to adults in case of being humiliated, severe mental health problems that worsened during my time there and horrific memories that I won’t soon forget.
It didn’t feel at all like a safe place to learn or even exist and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

Not α good school,cares to much about the uniform and is unfair to the girls and blame it on "being professional ".Α student shouldnt have to beg to go to the toilet before walking out.I have reported things that haven't got looked at or wasnt cared about.Time consuming homework which dont learn anything from.Petty about jewlerry and small details.Handing out detentions and inclusions seem to entertain them.Nobody should spend the day in inclusion for α hair cut or α ear piercing that cant be taken out.Nothing like the school advertises it as💁🏼‍♀️.Some teachers there don't even know how to teach,just tell them about their personal life.Also has been reported on the sexual assault list soo.

absolutely not as a student i’m in major beef with my mum for sending me here. half of my teachers are nice but some of them are terrible and not to mention Mr elvidge (absolute fitty though) mate taught my tutor absolute shit and is too busy underlining the title on the board then teaching us anything. they care more about my skirt being too short and having bracelets on then my education. please don’t send your child here unless you want them to experience a modern day concentration camp 😜 xx

I am a student, I joined in early October soon as I joined I got harassed and got called names and now I seen many fights go on they are more caring of the uniform and the toilets are disgusting they are never looked after properly and the amount of times I had to report of transphobia and homophobia said to me they won't do anything about it and in lessons I get called tr@nny and f@ggøt in class and when I said something I got in trouble and I reported someone selling vapes I got put in isolation

Terrible school. More focused on uniform than actually giving children the education they deserve. Teachers are patronising and talk down to parents and also lie.
They refuse to admit there are any problems with the school - no hot food at lunchtimes, fights and bullying to name a few. I regret sending my child to this school, no wonder there’s such a high turnover of pupils.

Some teachers are absolute gems but most should not be able to teach. A serious evaluation of the teachers should be conducted to help the students or they will end up struggling.

Writing as a parent - Do NOT believe the image that they present. It is just that - an image. Bullying is swept under the carpet and ignored. Children are not properly supervised leading to regular fights. They eat where they want so kids will have food thrown at them - teachers don't care. My child is only in Year 8 and has witnessed fights - one so bad that children were taken in an ambulance. But you won't read that anywhere. Another of my children had a fire extinguisher sprayed in their face but the school didn't even let me know or follow up to see if she was O.K. Their motto 'We care, We respect, we achieve' is only true if you look on social media or if they are currently filming. A few brilliant teachers are mixed in with some who don't like children at all. Oh, and you must do your homework but no teacher will look at it!! DIRE.

Bullying is rife, food is thrown at lunch where children eat wherever they want - on the stairs, in the corridor, in tutor and they are unsupervised. School have to be chased if you want to resolve any serious problem but will be quick to email you if your child’s shirt is untucked. More concerned with outward appearances that acknowledging anything that is actually happening.
