The regis school is the worst in sussex
Absolutely disgusting school and teachers. No knowledge of autism or adhd just told they are naughty children. Reports made from professionals but the school dosnt care or wants to acknowledge the diagnosis. Teachers let bully's continue as they must be troubled children. They let children bully to the point of suicide. Do not send your child here. I am removing my child from the school. Disgusting

DO NOT COME TO THIS HELLHOLE!!
I do not recommend going to this school. First the food is horrible I became sick bc of the food. The teachers DO NOT care about ur mental health they say they do but they rlly don’t. And there are some rlly creepy teachers that I have experienced them being creepy. And some teachers will just send u to study for no reason and give out warning like homework. There are some rlly nice teachers but the majority of them aren’t. And the rules are ridiculous like now we are not allowed to have any dec...

I would avoid.
The school isn’t up to standards when it comes to disciplinary action as they will not take much physical action or responsibility when it comes to fights or hate towards other students. Furthermore they will punish u greatly of u have incomplete homework for considerably valid reasons for example you will get a 90 minute homework detention no matter how much you have got incomplete. And the fact that the teachers (not all) are kept busy dealing with inconsiderate behaviour by students who control the teaching staffs attention meaning that teachers often ignore and shun students who need actual help with mental support yet they claim to have full support for others mental health.

please don’t send you child here
I send my daughter there just for her to have to leave in year 10 due to the inclusion staff bullying her. My daughter has suffered from anxiety and is often very sick because of it as of that she had staff that’s supposed to help her but instead of helping her she was constantly told by the staff that was supposed to help her that she is a spoiled brat and is going to fail her GCSEs, she as of then come home crying because of that they have told her. She got really sick and couldn’t attend scho...

Bad school
They never worked with what's best for the students they say there no bullying but there is big time. They try to push the students in to things they are not ready for . All they care about is the uniform policy and have them line up to for inspection so all together a very bad school

Overall bad
I think this school is awful. The sexism, racism, and homophobia is disgraceful. Oh, and also the ridiculous rules this school has put in place. First of all, sexism. The female students are treated awfully. They are sent to purchase a new skirt 22’’ which costs up to £36. I think these prices are outrageous! Especially with the costs of living lately, and having it rolled up leads to a detention, or study room if failed to unroll. Teachers dont seem to understand that having it unrolled gets yo...

i hate it here
hi. i’m a student at the regis school and i think there’s some issues we need to address. one being uniform, it’s so unnecessary to have to get a skirt with two logos so you have to have it unrolled all the time. i don’t think the school realises that girls get bullied for having their skirt unrolled?? it makes them look like a “neek” and a “weirdo” which can classify as bullying, they say “yeah, so we’re doing this so everyone has it unrolled so there’s no bullying” all/if not most of the people making fun of them are wearing trousers. which brings me to my next issue: the lack of care for mental health. i’ve had some pretty horrible things said to me by teachers and students. one teacher told me im going to fail in life and get nowhere and die. it really hurt to hear this and i never tried in his lesson ever again, because it wasn’t worth it?? i was going to fail anyways apparently. and don’t get me started on the students of this school. the way they treat poor year 7 is disgusting. the school gives no fucks about mental health and hasn’t ever tried to give support to those who really need it. it’s absolutely ridiculous. additionally, one time i brought a chicken burger from the canteen and it was pink. GROSS. the slt team. some are genuinly kind and caring but some are genuinly vile humans. i have been absolutely screamed at and bombarded by a specific member of slt for a skirt that was rolled up once. she gave me 2 green slips that day. it genuinly baffles me how strict this school is and that it cares more about how it looks from someone who doesn’t go here than a student who is genuinly suffering. can we please talk about how fake the school is when ofsted came to visit?? mr oakes gave my year an assembly basically threatening us that we had to be amazingly behaved or the punishment will double/triple. why not show the school for what it really is? a shithole.

Avoid bringing children to this school
AVOID BRINGING KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL My opinion of the school listed 1:bad hygiene/ rubbish everywhere 2: extremely racist/sexist/homophobic 3 teachers don’t care about student mental health 4: 90 minute detention for not complete a small part of homework 5: they say they are a rights respecting school but they aren’t in any way for example they don’t let anyone go to the toilet in lessons and if they do the headteacher (who is the worst) will put you back in lesson anyway 6: so many scraps (fights) at break 7: read all the other 1 star reviews for in detail information Overral my experience in this school was extremely bad. The homework they set does not help the students, instead it gives them stress and anxiety. The teachers (except a few) are extremely bad at teaching and don’t care about the student’s wellbeing. Students aren’t allowed phones out at any time even at break and the school is extremely sexist to both male and female students. SO DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL IF YOU DONT WANT THEM TO BE STRESSED AND DEPRESSED
