It's allright but why do year 10 and 11 have to camp the toilets

its like a movie... but in 3d...?

This school is the worst school I have ever encountered the school locks the bathroom not allowing children to enter the bathroom children getting bullied teachers doing absolutely nothing fight outside of school children getting threatened by other students when inspectors come around teacher are on there best behaviour the head of years don’t believe children nor help them with situations the food absolutely disgusting if your lunch is last you don’t get as much food the food price’s absolutely ridiculous if you bring your children to this school and your child can’t protect themselves your child will get badly bullied teacher do nothing worst school whole Peterborough know how bad this school is I would never ever recommend this school to anyone

When I went to the toilet a girl and a girl were vaping and were fighting I do not recommend this school horrible school and staff

Honestly this school sucks, dont go to tda. We have 3+ fights every single day, the corridors are always crowded and if u dont get to lesson within 5 minutes they give you a 30 MINUTE DETENTION. We get around 10+ homeworks which are normally expected to be given in within a few days, and if we fail to do 1 homework ( even if it was due to mental health they expect u to do ur homework ) they give us a 30 MINUTE DETENTION. Crazy school, dont send your children here please

I am writing this review because I want all of the parents out there to be aware of the truth, the truth of how terrible the school Thomas deacon academy is. I am going to start of by saying how teachers do not give a damn about mental health at all not even a single bit! adding on to that students behave horrendously and students bully other students and freely get away with bullying. Teachers do not deal with bad students properly at all. Teachers do not support mental health the way they should, all they do is slap some "mental health awareness" posters all over the building so that when OFSTED come they think TDA is a good school when is reality it is the literal opposite. THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE THE TRUTH MUST COME OUT, JUSTICE FOR THE STUDENTS WITH MENATL HEALTH NEEDS TO BE SEVERD!!! please if your a parent do not send your child Tda.

We don't even have time for ourselves because of the amount of homework is ridiculous because it's everyday that we do homework and we don't rest and we always get detention if we don't do 1 homework and that ridiculous because we have like 100

Use bad language,Most teachers swear infront of students,Really strict,You get detention easily and overall a really bad school.They swear to kids and if you are late you get 30 min detention .Rating:1/10

Absolutely awful would strongly suggest not sending your child there , they don’t resolve bullying or harassment and have a appalling pastoral team . They treat kids in care horribly or any who struggles a little bit. Their first resort in any situation is exclusions or seclusion when it’s unnecessary. 9 times out of 10 they don’t even care to hear the other side of the story they just listen to one person’s argument and then back it without actually investigating into the situation. Teachers and staff are foul mouthed and have no respect for students in any way shape of form. If your struggling and then can blatantly see that they act like they can’t and get you in trouble , half the teachers remove you from lessons over minor things and then u end up with a 60 min for nothing , when someone’s getting bullied the teachers do nothing about it, they claim that they’ll investigate it and they never will . I’m honestly surprised that this school is not shut down because they the way that the treat their students and how other students treat each other is just barbaric.

School acts as if they care about the students and their mental health but they do not. The teachers, except for a select few, only care about the grades and do not care about how the students are. students mental health is just as important as their education. The school is treated like a business, not an education facility. I do not recommend this school. The school is shocking when it comes to wellbeing and they are so bad at communicating with parents.

It’s not great. The students aren’t bad to be honest, i mean it’s a secondary school in english fgs. The teachers though. Oh lordy, don’t get me started on them. Some are brilliant, some are awful. Right, one of my maths teachers is amazing, such a lovely lady and she really does care about her students. But other teachers such as head of years and people who let the power get to their head are horrible. They just scare students every single person in my year was terrified of this one teacher. This teacher gave detentions for no reason one dude forgot to tuck his chair in and they gave them a 90 minute detention. Teachers here don’t give a crap about mental health at this school.

It wasn't that bad to be honest. The teachers don't really care about education... they only care about the dress code. Teachers can't even handle their students. The schools reputation isn't even that good and this is coming from a student who used to go to tda in 2018
