Really bad school, my experience has been terrible

This school is literally horrendous ?. I go here currently about to go into year 10 and they don’t care about your well-being and learning at all, I have supplies most lessons or I don’t learn anything because they’re always shouting at the kids that can’t bloody behave. They only care about uniform, I have a ring I wear during tests to help me concentrate and I was told I can’t wear it even though my head of year was emailed. The stupid services people are also terrible and I was told by one of the staff that they haven’t seen me in ages because someone’s problems are “more important” than mine like wtf ?. I’ve been bullied since primary school and in secondary I’ve had people make really horrible comments about my (TW) $H and Su1c1d3 etc and how I look and I told student services and the didn’t do anything and didn’t tell the students who did it off, disgusting honestly. They’ve added a new thing called reflection even though we already have reset and at least one person goes to reflection each lesson for most of the time no reason and it’s so annoying like leave people alone. I’ve been threatened to be sent to reset before by an angry supply teacher for talking to my friend once and another time me and my friends got shouted at because I asked why I we had to be quiet because the whole class was whispering and she said it was “too loud”. (Most) teachers are so fucking rude and get on my nerves, go to another school whilst you have the chance don’t listen to good reviews the school is a shithole. (Save your children whilst you can ?)

teacher care more about girl appearances then the "education". they excluded a y9 student for a week after hospitalising a y7. school bathrooms are s*** tiles missing taps dont have warter their science toilets have massive gaps underneith and a gap at the top school canteen is to expenive and not the price they should have for how poor the food is. ive been bullied for 3 years staight not one single thing has happened or been sorted ive been excluded now 6 times and put n reset many times and they ae yet to tell me why. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HEAR !!!!

I’ve been gaslit, sexually harassed, sent to isolation for fuck all bullied had multiple meetings. I this school cares more about a fucking uniform then our education than our mental health, then our physical health, then our safety they keep the gate wide open for kids to walk out of the school for rondos to enter the school and whatever the fuck they want. They don’t then you home when you’re sick. The most they do is give you paracetamol and a glass of water to go back to class and if you need to go home, you have to be to want to call your mother or father or carer to come and get you because the school won’t send you home there’s barely any good teachers you don’t wanna send your kids here if you actually care about them, if it was up to me, School would be shut down

This school is actually AWFUL! The teachers don't care about students well being or how they are being treated. JUST uniform and grades. I go there myself and it always feels like I'm missing homework or i forget my stupid tie. It gave me a lot of anxiety. They will send you a minus point for doing no homework for subjects that don't even need homework according to google and if you have an excuse they will not sympathize at all. The staff there are another story. The ladies at the student services are stern and mean and the ACTUAL teachers are so mean! The only people at that school are the lunch ladies and of course my friends. The building is old and things are getting moldy and smelly. Overall if you have a child in year 6 and are thinking of sending them there DO NOT send them there. Your child will go from really comfortable and happy to sad and quiet!

School toilets are horrible always broken then they blame it on us when we all know it’s the higher years just either put cameras outside the toilets to see who goes in and just send a 200 pound fine for vandalism

Absolute shite school, don’t do anything to help my son, all of his friends say how bad the rules are. They act completely different when visitors come in to act like there school is actually getting somewhere. It’s a human right to to go the toilet and they don’t allow it, absolute bullshit. The school had a protest a couple weeks ago and they are acting like they are going to do something just so the school doesn’t get a bad review, and you know what, I wish I could rate it a 0!!!! SHIT SCHOOL, need to educate themselves

Awful problem solving skills, they do not listen to the students the way they should. 'Temporary' huts have been there for 15+ years. No white socks? Why? Vital and important areas have NOT been renovated in what looks like 2 decades. Outdated worksheets, mostly from 2010 or so. Some science tables have writing on them which says "(name) 2001" 2001?! These tables are 22 years old! Or more! Some gas taps don't work, all rusted and stuck. Some of the heating and other appliances don't work. They are trying to lock all the bathrooms during lesson time, which is completely unreasonable and unhygienic. Asbestos in the ceilings which makes approximately 7 classrooms unavailable due to the school trying to redo the upper level of the school. How long is this going to take? The 'cornerstones' they love so much do nothing to affect the students, and are completely and utterly ignored. Everyone is violent in some way and quite unkind, despite the headteachers feeble attempts to correct this. The students (of all years, from year 7 to year 11) have recently protested against various overflowing problems with good reasoning and the staff have taken no notice, in fact, it seems they are trying to shut them up. We are extremely dissatisfied. Go to Tretherras, Brannel, St Blazey, anywhere but Treviglas!!

this school is truely terrible they care more about uniform and grades than their students. Also have been acused of multiple things i have not done and been punished without further question its bad i do not reccomend!!!!!!!!

absolute terrible place firstly the racism me and the few people of ethnicity acome to every day is shock i know people who have been called monkey, nword and countless other slurs that i cant even mention the amount of people i have seen having nervous breakdowns and panic attacks and there given a glass of water and sent to lesson its crazy and about lessons i currently have no math teacher and are stuck watching oak academy and being taught by a damn dt teacher or history tacher or whatever like its pick and choose and in my regular lessons most teacher barley teach they just complain and insult you we probably know more then most teachers so instead of worrying about uniform and corner stones maybe improve your lessons and staff

do not even think about going to this school its so shit the teachers don't even listen to what you have to say , the teachers put you in isolation for a reason they don't even know , not even mentioning the fact that they don't do anything about bullying if you forget to bring ur pe kit you will have to wear there spare sweaty kit , they care more your uniform then ur mental health not aloud to go to the toilet during lessons canteen food is overpriced wellbeing is shit teachers go on there phones and wear there coats in lesson but we not aloud to because they will take it of us but the education is amazing most of the time

my kid went to Treviglas and tretheris and tretheris is much better in his opinion

the school is shit, bullying is rampant and teachers do nothing I've been told off for something tiny whilst bully's stay at the school for the whole duration of their education people should only put this shithole on the bottom of their choice list if you send your child here they will be depressed at some point of their time at the school. The school cares more about uniform and the stupid cornerstones than the students and their wellbeing my friend was struggling at one pointy and when he went to the wellbeing hub he was told they were full and to come back later.

This school is appalling. It has no intention of teaching you correctly. SLT (Senior Leadership Team) will treat the students misbehaving like angels. However if one student does a mistake they blacklist you and continously goed at you just so they have more against you. They have had no intention for caring for you, cannot cook their food (I had diarrhea from chicken in one of their paninis). Big shame. They make no efforts towards good learning they make effort when there's offstead in the building. Absolutely appalling. Shocking. Disgust. Anger.
