Extremely disappointing . I would not recommend this school
Experience of this school over the last five years has been extremely disappointing. The school has declined dramatically, with staff constantly coming and going, sometimes every few months. This lack of stability has had a major impact on students and the quality of education.
The standard of teaching has fallen significantly. Some of the teachers brought in appeared ill-equipped and incapable of delivering the level of teaching students need, and unfortunately this has been reflected in the results.
I would not recommend this school to anyone, especially for A-levels. The results have been disappointing, and in my opinion this is largely due to the lack of consistent, high-quality teaching and the constant turnover of staff.
It is extremely frustrating to see how much the school has deteriorated over the past five years. Students deserve better, particularly at A-level when their education has a direct impact on their university opportunities and future. The school urgently needs to address the quality of teaching, staff retention and overall academic standards.
It is Absolutley awful. They are far too strict to students, have no consideration for their needs, the English and re department is a joke, no stable teachers. The deputy mr Connolly nearly killed a kid but blamed someone else for his doing.
