Victoria House Day Nursery

I can only comment on what I hear from the nursery’s garden. There are one or two members of staff whose interactions with the children in their care are wholly negative. Their voices are frequently raised and this afternoon I have heard “ Why are you crying? Stop it and come here” spoken in a very rough manner. “ Don’t do that. And stop smiling. I don’t think it’s funny” Positive exchanges and encouragement and laughter are rarely heard. This kind of negative interaction is heard every single day. It’s quite heartbreaking to hear. I certainly wouldn’t send my child there & I’m very surprised it has a “ good “ ofsted rating.
