Walmgate Day Nursery

I took my child out of a large Nursery, because she was not developing, because their was too many children in that Nursery and Teachers did not have time for all of them. I am delighted to have found Walmgate Nursery, the Pre-School is excellent, the teaching is of a higher standard, and the Room Leader Clara is excellent. I have noticed my child now is learning a lot more and is developing. I would like to thank Clara and Daniele for all their hard work.

My child as improved greatly since I took her out of a large Nursery, and brought her to Walmgate Nursery. She as developed and come on in leaps and bounds thanks to the Pre-School Leader Clara and her team. Words are not sufficient to thank you for all your commitment to her progress, you deserve all the accolades for my child's growth and success. I consider you the best Teacher I've ever known for developing my child for Primary School. Thank you Clara.

I moved my child from a large Nursery to Walmgate because she was not getting much attention from the staff. I am delighted I did because she as improved greatly thanks to Room Manager Clara and her team in the Pre-School. I was worried she was getting left behind in the other Nursery, because of the poor teaching. I would recommend this Nursery because the Pre-School staff are out standing.

Hello, my kids goes to walmgate day care nursery.And they both love it there,I love it there too because I don't have to worry about a thing when I drop the kids off from morning to evening.The staffs there always in great spirits ? ❤️ so friendly and always doing their best always.It is an excellent place for children.Keep up the good work ? ? ? great job to all of the staff and Thank you ? Delighted the Nursery got a good Ofsted report, good decision to bring Clara back to sort out the Pre-School, she as turned the Pre-School round. My daughter loves going to the Nursery, and all she talks about is Clara's volcano lesson.

The owner had little knowledge of childcare and education and the manager had poor organisational and leadership skills. They didn't employ staff who were well trained and experienced but I believe this has hopefully changed now as I've noticed they have had a better ofsted report after a year or so of poor quality teaching and education gradings.

Just found out Clara is leaving today and going to another Nursery, very disappointed as she is an excellent pre-school teacher. who single handed as transformed the pre-school with a lot of different ideas in teaching. All the best in your new job, as a Manager.

Poor Management, staff just leave because of this, the owners need to bring in a top management team, to gain a better report from Ofsted.

Excellent Nursery, despite Ofsted giving it a poor rating, the Pre-School teachers are very good, each day they explain what my daughter as been taught, and Clara makes lots of different actives, my daughter enjoyed the volcano that Clara made, and would like to see it rumble again.

I noticed when I picked my child up from the Nursery, most of the staff do not have a Walmgate Nursery shirt, and have different coloured shirts on, it would look better for everyone who worked at the Nursery to look smartly dressed, all wearing a Walmgate shirt. Also it advertises the Nursery.

The Nursery is very clean, and the staff are really nice, Lucy the Manager was very nice and helpful, and my toddler loves going to the Nursery and as made a lot of friends.

Great staff and the Nursey is very clean, the owners wife is really nice and very helpful.

Walmgate Nursery Pres-School is excellent because they have a super Teacher called Clara, my child loves coming to this Nursey because Clara is an outstanding Teacher, the things she can do with a cardboard box amazes my child and it is very educational. 10 star xxxxxxxxxx

The Nursey at Walmgate, York. as an outstanding Pre-School teacher, Professor Clara. Clara makes things with boxes that are educational, and the children then can paint the boxes that are made into toys. My child loves coming to this Nursery because she does not no what Clara will make tomorrow. Excellent staff member.
