An awful school! Stay away at all cost!
It’s an awful school! If your child have any issue or disability they do nothing to help you, I’ve spoken to parents with children who were with long term illnesses, one with MS one with a very complicated leg fracture, and the school literally told them not to come back to the school because it would hurt their stats. Other parents with children who has children with dyslexia was told that the school doesn’t acknowledge dyslexia and there was no extra help or tools to help them.
My child is gluten intolerant and a lot of days there has not been any suitable food and the only thing to eat that is gluten free is rice. I deeply regret having my child in this school.
They are also useless dealing with bullies. My child used to home with bruises and scratches, when we brought this up in endless emails and meetings, the school told my child just to ignore the bullies and they would stop. The bullying didn’t stop until these older(!) kids left school. Needless to say that we are looking elsewhere for the six form years.

The teachers are rude, food sucks, I hated it when I went to school there, my sister now goes and hates it just as much as me.

This school has gone down hill siince the previous head teacher Mr Hamllyn left. This is school is racially profiling students on a day to day base. ths school has many issues but are only concerned about blazers lashes and fake nails.currently there are teachers who are bullying students telling them they are going to fail in life. Teachers are also being such hyporits as they tell tell pupils to take out small earings when they are wearing fat hoops themselves. They should be setting an example for pupils. Secondly the school are begging parents for money charging £1.50 for a small biscuit and they clearly cant afford the new building. Additionaly all the teachers dont know how to teach they just now how to shout and make students feel bad about themselves. during mock season there was unsafe conditions with ice on the pavements putting pupils at risk when having to commute to school. They also didint allow study leave for the students which put stress levels onto them and resulted them in performing bad grades. Many of the pupils vape and do drugs and bully others the students act like animals.They also dont allow students to go to the toilet and act like there prisomnerts

bullying
Teachers don’t care about bullying at all. it depends on how well known you are at the school if you’re someone no one likes they’d do nothing however if you’re someone that’s smart, everyone adores you & does great in certain subjects you’ll receive the best treatment. Also the students there think they’re better than everyone and bully/harass you for the most stupidest things

Average though improvement necessary
Just joined in year 7 this year there’s a hole in the floor in one of the science classrooms. A hole in the wall in the maths block the room that the boys have to change in for pe is more or less a shed because of corona but that is too low. With the teachers there are some very nice, look out for miss dietza if you have a problem and she’s really nice. The food is ok though I don’t think it’s cow meat in the burger, I just tend to stay away from them and the meat.
Never come to this school.
Trash. Only 2 teachers can actually teach, some cant even speak english properly. Favoritism amongst students and teachers and the buildings are literally falling apart. Food is absolutely appauling, same food served everyday and left overs served for weeks. Baguettes have the blandest taste and the bread is drier than my knees. Do not reccomend
Spent 7 years there
Left the sixth form this year - science department a shambles with no adequate chemistry teachers and one half decent physics teacher for all 1800 students at the school.

Most days no vegan options in the canteen and a very poor vegetarian option with no fresh veg in.
