Horrible school.
I remember getting sent out for playing the piano slightly louder and screamed at in front of the whole class for 5 minutes I was berated and called stupid and that teacher phoned my mum up and told her to ground me, I also remember accidentally going up the wrong stairs but my class room was right next to it but my teacher refused to let me in because of the one way system so he shouted at me and made me walk all the way back round and when I got back he gave me a negative for being late because he wouldn't let it slide it was literally not even 1 ft away the class.
Only care about appearances
A terrible school and should be avoided. Its management only cares about outward appearances and not what is going on at school.
We are in week 7 and the school is not yet fully prepared for the start of term (7 weeks ago). They are still setting up.
Children are routinely imprisoned for days in the isolation building for extremely minor infractions such as missing a badge or being one minute late.
Not my child, but one child was given a week in solitary confinement for being assaulted for being trans.
Another child was given a week in solitary confinement for being thrown down a flight of stairs.
The teachers don't have to follow their own rules and don't meet their own standards. This is in relation to uniforms, appearance, being late, taking time off, using their phones.
Bullying, racism, sexism, and homophobia are rife throughout the school.
Staff don't want to deal with it at all.
A lot of this actually comes from some staff members.
Children are routinely not told they have homework. Homework is rarely marked and in some cases, teachers don't even look at the work before giving out inappropriate assignments.
The vast majority of teachers I have encountered are not suited to the profession and are only here because their degree results were so bad they would struggle to get Burger King assistant manager jobs.
The amount of under 40's who can't use computers or simple apps is unbelievable. But they expect parents and children to know how to use the same apps (which they generally can).
The teachers also expect children to do their admin and clerical tasks for them as they cannot be bothered.
Teachers and heads of year never answer questions or solve any problems.
Staff never follow through on any promises they make.
The complaints process is a bureaucratic nightmare, designed to take over 12 months just to listen to you.

i really don’t like this school it is too strict it makes me sad it makes me angry it makes me stressed all the teachers are mean and the skirt situation is ridiculous punishments are too harsh was trying to message my mum in a lesson about coming on my period and i got a c3 and placed in the consequence room i found it absolutely atrocious and it needs to be sorted out
An absolute disgrace of a school
Absolutely no support for children, they don't help them ,they just semd them home ,it's a haven for bullying, they also care more about the uniform than the students,

This school does NOT CARE about the bulling .The bullies even video there action we have gone to the school nothing happens they put the bullies in detention and they LOVE IT but carry on these idiots need expelling as the descent kids want to learn and there making it terrible for them THEY DO NOTHING what else can we do they have there names but do nothing

Extremely racist school. Police has been called multiple times and school has been threatened to be taken to court, instead they sweep it under the carpet and become oblivious to the bullying and racism. If you’re an ethnic student, save yourself the trouble and find a different school. Clearly Wath hasn’t change done bit..

Idk why I'm going to this school its TERRIBLE to any people looking to come here DONT the uniforms strict,teachers are strict (most of them)school food is ok not the best but not the worse
There are better schools but there are also worse
Yes, they are strict on uniform and this can leave some students walking into school scared everyday, but some of the teachers are incredible. They are willing to help with things outside of school, your mental health and make lessons really enjoyable. I’ve found that your teachers help more than the safeguarding and mental health teams. Some classes are complete chaos (in a bad way) because of the teacher, or the fact that you have a cover every lesson and no set teacher, but other classes are brilliant because a few teachers are great and make lessons really engaging. Why is there only one language offered? They tell us that they want us to have knowledge of other cultures but only offer one langage at GCSE. I aim to do a French degree and school are currently holding me back in this ambition. The communication is not up to par though. There are much better schools, but there are certainly worse, as the opportunities we get are quite varied.

I have no problem with the school, but i accept the uniform policy is unnecessarily strict and some punishments are hash.
Awful
this school is awful, the uniform is too strict can only have certain hair styles n colour yet they say they want everyone to express themselves and b there own person, they do nothing about bullying they just leave it until people actually start fighting, they’ve handled COVID badly aswell, not social distancing neither are teachers n it’s just a huge mess, overall the school is terrible
Shocking school
Teachers are shocking , the way they handled COVID is shocking , classes are over crowded , pyl is shocking besides mr lines the legend and the periods are to long and the students hate the school and the sixth form is shocking over all a shocking school , lots of love every student ever
Not a good school!
It was good before the new principal and executive principal took over now they seem to concentrate more on uniform than education even with stupid things like earings.
