My honest review.
I have written two other reviews here but now that I'm gone, I feel I have more to say. Wellington does not care for their students. The children are merely statistics - attendance and GCSE grades, that's all they care about. During my years there I was bullied, sexually harassed and made to feel subhuman. Nothing was ever done. I will never feel a sense of justice and I now have to live with the issues this treatment caused me. I was forced to stay in school while violently ill and barely con...

Absolute Disgrace
After being at this school for 5 years it has been the worst experience of my life leaving that school and it made me the most upset I have ever been with how rude they were towards me. They do not care anything what so ever about the the mental health system and how students are and don’t even get me started on the headteacher because he is an absolute disgrace. There have been cases of him pulling up students pants and not replying to parents when they say something he is rude and ignorant. Th...

Would not recommend. Value scores over wellbeing.
I recall instances of an adult man putting me against a wall, talking an inch away from my face and refusing to create space between us (he's now the head teacher), the head of P.E had an affair with a student, an English teacher locked a boy in the cupboard during class (he was crying very loud to be let out, the whole class were shouting at the teacher to do the right thing but he stood there gawping at us until one student went and unlocked the door for the boy, all of us walked out of class that day), I remember an SLT telling my friend to "go and die" because she was being cheeky, that same SLT targeted me for being in the wrong place at the wrong time and overhearing him call another teacher a "toss pot", I could carry on all day. School trips were unreasonably expensive so most students missed out but that's not surprising since the head was acting fraudulently for her own financial gain. Innumerable instances of wholly disgraceful and immoral behaviour from senior teachers who then expected obedience from their students, some of which could see clearly that these were not adults worthy of any respect.

Awful
Worse place I had ever been, people say you miss high school when you’re older I’m nearly 21 and still hate it as much. My ex boyfriends cousin attends this school and gets bullied she suffers alone at that school they don’t give one

Not the worst out there
I would say it isn't the worst school on the UK but it definitely is nowhere near the best. The teachers. Most of them are horrible and seem to hate working with young people. Cold calling and disrupting their own lessons for minor things are some of their favourite activities. The PE department are probably the worst in terms of actually caring for the wellbeing of their students - grown adults screaming at kids who are struggling, aren't athletic or "who aren't trying hard enough" despite being disabled. It's truly ridiculous. The food served in the canteen is alright but is absurdly overpriced. Free school meals isn't enough to cover the cost of a full meal, myself and other kids only being able to afford a small portion of food - let alone a drink - because of how high the prices are. At one point I spent £1.50 on 2 mouthfuls of pasta because they had run out of their normal pots and were using extremely small bowls to serve their food, they were clearly poorly organised. In terms of the mental wellbeing of the students, it isn't great. All of the people I am friends with, bearing in mind I am not popular in the slightest, are mentally ill. The stress the workload puts on the students - especially in ks4 - is borderline inhumane. By the time I was in year 8, I was so depressed I didn't care about my own wellbeing, I became reckless, impulsive and extremely suicidal because of how quickly I became burnt out. The quality of the education is probably one of the best things you'd find in this school. The teachers are good at teaching their subjects and can be helpful when you're struggling. Though, as I said previously, most teachers don't like working with teens, so wether you actually learn anything depends on if you're lucky with what teacher you get. I may be very critical in this review but if you live in this area and want a decent school to send your children too, wellington is probably the best option compared to BTH and ACA, as I've heard from former friends who went to these schools that my experiences sound heavenly compared to theirs.

Horrible
Most of the teachers are horrible and the kids are even worse tbh. There was a teacher who said slurs they can't reclaim and also guilt tripped one of my friends and there was another teacher who picks on people to humilate them on purpose. Loads of the students vape and also a lot of them say slurs, also, the teachers don't do much about this.

A Below Average School
Overall the school was average, I was bullied through most of my 5 years there and the punishments were unsatisfactory, all they got was a talking to and a few days in inclusion, some of the teacher's attitudes were disgusting I had an english teachers who was more interested in teaching us political and controversial topics, and decided to compare racism to houses. I had a maths teacher who didn't want to help me but wanted to constantly give me detentions for asking how to do something.
