Westoe Crown Primary School

Was a lovely school until the head teacher retired and replaced with a new racist head teacher who's also a bully and shouts at the children. Schools gone down hill and continues to drop.

The school was so good when I went and the staff were so kind, I made friends easily especially since I joined year 4 from a totally different area. It was easy to settle into the school and everyone was so kind to me, there was never any security problems within the school and kids were kept with the teachers until their parent came and picked them up. There were lots of stuff to do aswell and I highly recommend for people to send their kids to this primary, the teachers also were extremely good with dealing with problems such as bullying and were able to stop it.

This school was excellent. The teachers are so passionate about what they do and helping pupils reach their full potential. They offer many opportunities throughout school to celebrate students achievements and punish bad behaviour. Even though there are many pupils, Westoe Crown is a successful school with many dedicated staff and 2 large playgrounds with lots of equipment. The food is healthy and they highly encourage eating a balanced diet. Physical Education is adequate although they could have better trained teachers rather than inexperienced ones so the quality of learning is better. When pupils get changed for PE, both genders are in the same classroom of approximately 30 students. They also don't do much Computing with pupils so they don't learn simple skills.
