My little girls started Willow Tree when she was 18 months old and at first we loved the place. The owners seemed passionate about the children and the staff were kind and caring.
Things started to go wrong for us when we noticed a very high turn over of staff. Our little girl seemed to be with new people week on week, as parents we were never informed of these changes. Also she would often come home in other children's things and her things would never be returned to us.
The monthly invoice was wrong must months and we had several occassions where we'd been overcharged and I had to email (very often no reply would be received).
As time went on the owners were there less and less and the passion for the children didn't seem the same.
The main issues for us started when a new employee started and very obviously was bullying our 3 year old. Our daughter is confident and been going to Willow tree for nearly two years then all of a sudden didn't want to go. On one occasion she was clinging to my husband whilst this said employee dragged her off him offering no empathy.
I emailed the owners to raise my concerns about this employee and my email was IGNORED. After waiting a week or so I removed our daughter from the nursery and placed her elsewhere where she thrived.
The employee in question I don't believe had the skills to look after young children and I have since learnt things about her that would make me question how she even would get a job at a nursery.
I'd like to add Willow Tree had some fantastic staff over the time we used them, most have now seemed to have moved on which doesn't surprise me as I don't think they were appreciated by the owners.
Just an honest review from a very disappointed parent.
