Double satandards

I'm quite shocked that teachers can ball the children out for alleged things done by the children when found out these children haven't committed these things there is no appolagy at all if it was other way round these children have to apologise in front of the whole assembly I think double standards here

It’s not the best school I’ve gone to.

I used to go to wren academy for 4 years and the opportunities I got were unimaginable. But on a critical note, the cafeteria is very unsanitary due to the fact that pupils cleaned it as a punishment. Now I go to Wray common primary school in Redhill and honestly it’s A LOT better than wren academy but if I’m being honest, I really miss all my friends and teachers. I especially miss……. Mrs Jones, my YR1 teacher.
P.s she was phenomenal and I will never forget her

It’s defo not the best, but could be worse.

I currently go here.
Most teachers will teach well, but some of them go off topic very easily. The restaurant (cafeteria) is cleaned as punishment by students, this means it is often not actually cleaned properly. The uniform is overly expensive and you have to get it from St Albans, which is ok for Finchley kids but not the Enfield ones. One teacher in particular is always yells at you, even if you haven’t done anything wrong. Which is probably the reason ofsted gave us an OK. The single gender teaching is great and encourages girls to ask questions about science and maths that they might not have asked otherwise for fear of being laughed at by the boys. But you know. Overall it ain’t the best school out there, but ar least we don’t have people bringing in knives like some places (coughcoughchasecoughcough). If your kid is sensitive don’t send them here.

Wren Secondary review

I attended for secondary.
The education is alright, however some leading members of staff are questionable with regards to how they treat foreign students/students of ethnic minorities. The way they deal with incidents between students is highly effective, teachers are really strict however teacher-student favouritism is clearly shown (particularly towards British students coming from posh/middle-class backgrounds) hence the low rating. They offer compulsory extracurricular activities after school twice a week however breakfast clubs and lunchtime clubs do not exist. Cleaning of the lunch hall is done by students as punishment meaning cutlery/trays are often dirty, making it unsanitary. Food portions are small and expensive but otherwise delicious.
