Good academically, not great in other areas
Awful school
Absolutely awful school they care more about how you look than your education if you are not academically clever then they will not care. They have the most ridiculous rules. They do absolutely nothing about bullying. Most of the teachers are bully’s themselves. If you are clever you will get away with anything in that school if you are not you will be punished for absolutely everything. Food is awful so so expensive aswell

Absolutely awful school care more about how you look than your education will spend all lunches sat in the hall and do not get dinner. Uniform is extremely expensive. The rules are absolutely ridiculous they do not care about your education. If you are not academically clever they will not care.

Terrible when it comes to bullying, no action is taken when you report the bullying. Only taken seriously if you are academic.

However, I must say that the quality of teaching has always been high. At least in my experience. The core subject's (maths, English and science) departments are of a good quality, and so are the teachers.
The other subject departments are also pretty good. However, I do not believe that certain subjects like music, art or RE should be mandatory, or at least not in the way they are. Some students even missed out on PSHE in year 9 (a very important year for development) and in turn having no form of sex education until year 10 at which I would argue is too late.
While I believe the school has issues as a whole, academically they produce good results and a lot of the issues they have will be found in every other school. So while not a great school, I would say it's one of the better options in the area.
