This location is extremely understaffed, potentially the reason why education is limited. Despite this, the aurora group continues to open new locations, sending some Hanley Staff over.
Most staff do not seem to have a full understanding of special needs and how they impact each individual. Staff act demeaning, talking down to students as if they were primary school children despite their age. The students that notice can become irritated, making them overwhelmed and aggressive, causing meltdowns and arguments.
I personally enjoyed my time there, but after falling out with a favoured student, some staff began to treat me poorly. Bullying was actively ignored and Staff lying about incidents was encouraged.
