Poor school.

No air conditioning in classrooms, only staff rooms, disgusting way of speaking to students, sexist towards female student FROM STAFF.

Disgusting new rule.

Disgusting new rules, girls being discriminated against and sexualised by members of staff due to skirt lengths. Head teacher puts girls in detentions and isolations if their skirt is deemed “too tight/short”.
12 year old girl left shaking and in tears after assistant head teacher told her her skirt length was going to “attract boys” and get her harassed.
Foul behaviour from staff.

Amazing!

Yes just yes! This school is a great establishment high standards and a very high success rate for all students!
Mental health check ups in most form rooms to ensure children feel safe and protected in and outside environment. High rate for students to get into their very first choice of university! If you are looking for a school for your child I couldn’t recommend Bramcote College more!

my experience at Bramcote College

whilst i was at Bramcote college (y7-y11) the school was more bothered about the students not wearing makeup, skirts being too short instead of mental health. everytime i tried to speak to a teacher about anything i’d get pushed away and they wouldnt bother. the only way you’d get a teacher to sit and listen to you would be for you to act up and get into trouble for misbehaving. They wasn’t interested in bullying it was all swept under the carpet.

My Experience

School is more run down than Boris Johnson's hairline.
Teachers are okay apart from the head teacher.
Teachers in Student services also favorites people.
Teachers only look after certain people.
Overall wouldn't recommend it to people

The school from a students perspective

As a pupil about to go into year 11 I feel like overall I have had a really good experience at this school, the staff are so friendly (well most of them anyways) and they are there to support you in all of your interests and passions.

idk what this means

my experience

as a current year 11, my experience in Bramcote College hasn’t been too great, but not the worst. They don’t really do anything about mental health. they say in assembly’s ‘if you ever need a chat, come to student services’ and we do, but they pick and choose who they care for.
