THIS SCHOOL SUCKS

It is terrible. I just feel unsafe in that school and I am thinking of moving for my GCSE's.
I am part of the SEND community and the SEND staff were supposed to support me yet they always force me to go back to lesson even if i am crying my eye out over going to the lesson. All of the teachers say they will be there for you even thought they aren't.

Dont recommend. I might sound dramatic but save you child from this.
Don't go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bullers Wood is not heaven it's hell.

I was a student at this school, I joined on September of 2016 but I left on December of 2018.

Why did I leave?

Did I leave because of other people or did I leave because I didn't fit in and feel accepted?

Me joining the school was a big mistake, I didn't ask to go there, my parents encouraged me to go because it was very local and they thought it was an outstanding school, but they didn't know that the negatives would outweigh the positives.

My first year didn't go too bad but I didn't really have any friends and I was always getting into beef with other students.

My second year was the worst, I was depressed, I didn't feel like studying, I felt lonely, I fully believed that the teachers and students were angry at me for being part of the school and they desperately wanted me out because they thought I was the bad person. They don't want to admit that they might be the problem too, yes I made mistakes but I was also the victim.

I would cry every night to my parents saying "I hate that school, I don't want to go there anymore". The teachers even contacted my parents saying that they couldn't meet my needs and they couldn't understand me. They didn't know how to handle students like me.

When I finally left, I was a horse set free and when I joined my new school I felt more happier because I was treated with respect and care. Bullers Wood never cared about me, they only cared about getting rid of me.

How can you say that Bullers Wood is an outstanding school when all the teachers and students do is backbite and slander other people?

Thankyou for listening and please feel free to ask questions and share your experiences! Hate comments welcome!

This is a shit school

This school is bad the teachers there r horrible I think there’s only few good ones. They don’t care about bullying or your mental health even though they say they do but they don’t do nothing. The uniform is ugly and the shirts are see through and the people there are horrible they push past you and are mean to you. Don’t join this school tour better off going anywhere else it’s boring and the only exciting thing is we get a bunch of half days. Also the pe teachers are hell (especially the bald one) and all the nice teachers are leaving next year so don’t join please also shilling is the best form xx

decent compared to others in the area!

There are a fair amount of really nice supportive teachers here (amongst some of the less supportive ones you get in every school). You can definitely achieve high grades in this school if you work with it. Behaviour is decent most of the time.

Any complaints i have about this school (mostly about the mental health of its students) could be applied to any school, and honestly there is only so much a school can do regarding those issues.

Overall, this is a much better school than a lot of others in the area!

don’t recommend

personally i feel it’s not a fair place to send your child as they don’t care for each student as they should as well as not taking care of the mental health of both students and teachers alike. multiple teachers and students have had to take “short sabbaticals” to be able to renter the school environment

Not good

Made the best of friends, created some memories but had awful teaching, tutors got me through my GCSEs, not the teachers. Geography department is amazing, the rest not at all. Was very grateful not to have to stay for the sixth form, have heard its even worse!!
