Nazi ran school with no care for the welfare of students.

It's a military training camp. Children disengage when they're constantly being criticised and it doesn't help learning, behaviour- or mental health.
. The Head is Hitler with a faculty of Hitlers in trainers (Most hate his OTT rules- says it all).

There are scoring systems galore- lost learning time whilst teachers put (random) numbers on synergy . The constant sanctions aren't going to change poor behaviour, pupils need support. Woe betide if you forget your ruler etc., there's further wasted time for bag checks. Care more about menial stuff than actual teaching. No surprise the staff retention rate is abysmal.

A new Head Teacher with respect for all seems long overdue. My child says they have NEVER seen the Head waking around, only in assembly-he clearly couldn't care less about welfare.
only his salary.

Main problem is the kids

I went into the school with a lot of bad expectations from other people but I have seen that the teachers are mostly nice but the main problem is the kids, so much of the kids are mean, disrespectful, disobedient and just bad students. It’s hard to focus because of other students behaviour and not a lesson goes by where at least 1 person doesn’t get a grade 3 or lower.

Carr hill

Worst school ever I'm in year 10 now and each teacher is over the top about everything and they lie about everything aswell so now my own mum believes them more than me even tho just the other day I got shouted at for looking out a window when the whole class was messing about

Rubbish school

Terrible school, I spent 4 years here before having to leave due the discrimination towards students. Mainly those with underlying/ undiagnosed conditions. The teachers and staff have favourites and you get picked on for the littlest of things. They do nothing to stop on-going bullying, the pastoral team is rubbish and do nothing to help you. This school damages mental health and attitude towards learning. It needs a rework, new staff, new curriculum and educate teachers on mental health, disorders, disability’s etc.

Horrific.

I suffered for years of bullying here, they put me in counselling instead of actually doing anything but even then nothing was confidential with regular phone calls home about my sessions which isn’t ok. They praised the bullies while I was suffering and punished me for selfh@rming and then attempting to take my own life. The teachers where the worst constantly on a power trip and several occasions of throwing fits infront of classes and in hallways when things didn’t go their way. I was cornered on several occasions by bullies and assaulted infront of teachers and nothing was done, they either stood and watched it happen or left the general area. I witnessed so much unforgivable things in that school and a couple kids in my classes have since taken their own lives or are in inpatient treatments trying to recover form the horrors this school out them through. My brother was abused my teachers and pupils for being autistic and such and same with other special needs children in the school. LGBT+ students were discriminated against by teachers and students alike even going as far as banning them from opportunities and pleasures such as prom and end of year trips. I eventually moved schools but I will never recover from the abuse I received at this school. Please if you want your children to flourish do not sent them here the light in their eyes will be stamped out the minute they step foot in that school.

This school competes with other schools in the local areas at a high level of teaching

Carr Hill sucks.

They didn't take bullying very well, bullies say that they didn't do it and get away with it.

Don’t go here

Absolute crap school, don’t send your child it here’s not worth all the drama. Bad teachers, no mental health help, no support. A lot of favouritism. And an incompetent head teacher.

Don’t send your kids here !!!!

Worst school in the uk they have no policy for sorting bullying. Out and they never listen to what parents have to say unless their stuck up their own ***** they don’t reply to serious situations or answer anything to do with assaults. They got sent an email by social services and the police and still haven’t replied back and the head teacher doesn’t do anything except for scream at people for the fun of it. The school claims that they “help with mental health” and that “mental health matters” where as the school haven’t done anything regarding me or many other people and then basically just tell us to get a grip and move on . I got assaulted in school and then walked out after it happened and I had a teacher follow me nearly all the way home whilst I was crying and he was just saying “amber come back to school so we can sort it out” and said that until he turned around and left

Don’t send your children here!

Nearly all teachers are on some sort of power trip, don’t actually care about the students. I was the subject of sexual harassment and, after a brief discussion between my parents and the deputy headteacher, the school did nothing further to prevent this sort of thing happening again. My harasser received no punishment, and, even though the school told us to contact the police, when the police reached out to them for more information, they simply ignored the matter. Don’t send your children here.

Not this...

Honestly it was not fun being here as I got minimal support and they handle any sort of bullying or struggle badly. Some teachers abuse power and treat students badly.

Awful

They put my daughter in counselling instead of dealing with the bullying she was dealing with from student AND teachers, they refused to take any responsibility for playing apart of the trauma she received at this school and the head teacher is absolutely useless! The SEN leader refused to attend to the referral and help my other specialist needs daughter and in the end I move them school, awful school would not recommend for your special needs child/ren
