Way from being inclusive!
Pretentious school with know concerns for children well-being or reaching out to parents. they rule through fear and and prison camp type punishments. Vice principal is arrogant aggressive and defensive and has no intension of supporting children's well-being. its obviously an inconvenience to the school's data and how things look to the outside world. Unfortunately there isn't any competition for the school really in the area which in my opinion enforces their arrogant, untouchable and defensive approach when challenged over concerns.
Poor management
Leaders are hard to deal with. School is more interested in how it appears than what’s best for the children. Don’t take well-being of the children seriously and vertically make impossible for you get a meeting. Dealing with there so called client services is like dealing with a bad call Center. The report things wrong don’t pass on messages and can be very rude. Head is never available and I can’t get a meeting with him at any cost so have staring a complaint has it’s been made so difficult.

Client services, although it exists are very unprofessional in their approach, and seem to live cuckoo land... bullying is rife at this school, and sadly that starts with some (not all) of the teachers.
The leaders of the school have no clue of what good leadership is, or how to influence to achieve the best out of people.
A school which exists as it is currently the only one close to many residents.
On the plus side....there are a few (not many) but a few teachers who are in the job as they want to make a positive difference, sadly not enough though....best look for a different school, even if that means paying a bit more for transport.

Gargamel’s Catmose College and the smurfs
Does not deserve a single star. Worst school I have ever worked. I have more than twenty years experience. You feel suffocated from day one. Headmaster is a Gargamel type with not an inch of humanity. Teachers and pupils are scared of him. It is not an outstanding school: it lacks the basics students need to learn: be good people led by example. Do not send your kids there.

I was a teacher at the school for a while thank goodness I didn’t stay long. I was employed to cover staff who were on maternity leave. I later found out that at least one had had a mental breakdown due to working in such horrible conditions I have never again worked in such a school with bullying rife among pupils and staff. I only remained for seven months, I couldn’t have stayed any longer. I felt so sorry for some of the quieter kids who had to survive in, what seemed to many, as a cross between a prison camp and a lunatic asylum. Young staff were promoted too early and given no support many seemed exhausted and were criticised when they asked for help. Experienced older staff were under minded by senior management and pushed out. There was a culture of put up or shut up!

if i could give it a 0 i would but i can’t, so i give it a 1. all jokes aside this school sucks, nothing good about it. i used to say sports was the only remotely good thing about it because they let everyone join in but then i asked if i could take sports for GCSEs and i got told someone like me could never take sports for a GCSE. there is one lesson i enjoyed because the teacher taught everything so well and made it so i could understand, he made the lessons enjoyable too. (most of) the other teachers sucked. like i believe the only thing that was good when i left was the food, it tasted like cardboard soaked in sugar or spices, so not even that nice but still the best thing there. not to mention the ‘mental support’ they told me to just be happy when i was really depressed and when i was having an anxiety attack to just not think about it, not the best, don’t send your kids here unless you want to pay for them to have years of therapy.

Catmose is Awful - lead poorly by a dismissive head teacher who has no interest in his pupil well being or safety.

Terrible approach by teachers who have no respect for students but demand it in return. A bully culture which starts with the leadership .

Catmose is a hell hole
i had attended catmose for 5 years and have just finished my gcses, client services always say they will be there to help and support you but the support they give is not helpful at all, it’s like a plaster on an amputated leg- not helpful at all, the school overall is a crap show. most students in foundation levels don’t get as much help as the higher level students because ‘they have harder work and are more important’ client services has done nothing but made my school life more difficult than it already was, since starting catmose i had been diagnosed with depression and anxiety because of the school, the school does nothing but make the students want to leave to a better, different school and they do nothing about the mental health factor of the students, i know that some of my friends in lower years and myself have been struggling with life at home and our mental health but catmose doesn’t do anything about it, not even call someone to get us actually help because we can’t call anyone, catmose doesn’t do anything and i’m pretty sure it never will. at lunch i sat near this girl i knew and all her food had mould on it, because she already bought the food she went back to complain but she couldn’t get anything else to eat so she went the whole day without food because client services wouldn’t do anything about the mould and neither would the lunch ladies. catmose in my opinion, and i’m pretty sure most people’s that go there or went there, is a crap school and it shouldn’t be able to run the way it is, i have no idea how ofsted claimed it to be outstanding when our opinions of that school are outstandingly terrible.
No support for mental health
I have been through so much in this school and I cannot believe how many times me and my peers have been turned down by client services because if our mental health. They never do anything for the student's!

Nobody cares about student welfare we all have to look out for each other. Bullying and harassment is common and nothing is done about it

Absolutely astonishing! Never has there been such a terrible school that attempts to present the idea of a good reputation. In protecting itself: it doesn’t even act to deal with bullying - actively protecting the bullies and blaming the victims; students are forced into paths they don’t want to take; and the administration is only interested in what will make them look good and secure a fat pay check. Sports is the only priority and for that they sacrifice all human decency. I know I’m not the only student who thinks this and quite frankly I’d rather see “the prison” shut down for good than have to think of all the poor students being lulled into that hell.
Awful
absolutely horrible, client services is a joke as is mental health in this school, the only reason there is a good report in this school is because they never get rid of racist and offending students. sports is the only priority in this school.
Good school would recommend
Decent school, modern and good at teaching push you to do well.
