Awful school needs to be shut down! Honestly someone needs to investigate this school it's shocking what they do and say! Getting students to lie the same way the teachers do! Should be ashamed of yourselves. Offsted need to speak to all parents and students.

Absolutely shite and should never been opened

This school is absolutely terrible, in fact, i have heard students say 'theres an easy way out, theres a way to escape really easily!' And when older childeren (Year 10's, 11's) harrass or bully the younger childeren (year 7's in particular) teachers either only comfort the younger childeren or only give sanctions to the older childeren. (more often the latter) The lunch timings are horrendous, some people have said by the time the bell goes they havent even got their food! Some teachers are incredibly lazy, not bothering to do practicals due to not have done the risk assessments.The SENCO team are interesting to say the least, i would say there are probably 8 good (or excellent) staff members in the school, 3 of them being cleaners and 2 being lunch monitors.(the other is an English teacher, and two are SENCO workers) One of the teachers has been rumored to be a pedofile. A final thing i would like to stress is the bus timings+routes. One of the buses was ILLEGALLY DRIVING 40+ CHILDEREN TO SCHOOL. They were following laws from before 2009 and the council had to get involved, they even 'kicked childeren off' and most childeren and parents from one of the villages stayed off. The school put these childeren down as 'unauthorized absence' or UA. I do not know if anybody else agrees with me but that is absolutely ridiculous. Would never send a child here, not even as a punishment.

It is so unnecessarily strict. A lot of their ideals are definitely Victorian. Teachers don't really teach material needed for end of year exams. There's also an extra hour for all students on Mondays and Tuesdays which is ridiculous if you want them to be safe in the winter whilst it gets dark early. The work is not well paced for many students, some finding it too hard and not getting support and same for those who find it too easy.
The safeguarding team do their job in making sure the students are safe and comfortable though. Foods alright and they have a good sporting curriculum.
